These are way better then the ones lifetime includes with their kayaks! That said, I did have to tie the seat bands to it, I couldn’t get it to hold and still be adjustable if that makes sense. I’d recommend!

Plastic seat strap set up kept breaking on my Lifetime kayak. This buckle is tighter, a bit more difficult to adjust seat angle, but no more seat issues in the middle of my float.
