When I bought this, I expected a flimsy piece of plastic, but honestly, I was deeply surprised at the quality and weight of this item. Given the fact that I lost storage space for some remote controls due to losing a headboard, I needed something stylish and capable of being able to put the remotes as well as glasses, some medications, and other small items inside. This is actually an excellent option. It is not too big, and won't get knocked over at all (definitely meets the slip resistant criteria). It does exactly what I need for organizational purposes, and since the storage component is removable, it is definitely easy to access items that may have fallen on the bottom that adult hands cannot easily grab and therefore is easy as well to wipe off and clean if need be. I'm not even sure what I would recommend to do better with this product except to offer it in different colors, perhaps? The black initially made me hesitant but the quality more than made up for that.

This bad boy is HEAVY and well made. Yes, small ish, but well designed that the pencil, pens, scissors and felt pens remain upright and visible. And did i mention it was HEAVY. Won't be moving around or tipping over. I like it alot....

It’s great to keep all your remotes organized. It’s not magical so you have to put the remotes back to keep them organized and not lose them. Great quality, it can even be used as a paper weight. Assembly is simple, just put the divider in and you’re good.

Finally found something functional and aesthetically pleasing. I dropped one star because the insert doesn't fit snug in the case. It's a little loose, but overall it's sufficientfor our needs. Love having all the remotes in one spot.
