It helps my lung issues by keeping my back delicately warm thanks to Sunbeam extra low warm setting. Only Sunbeam hight engineer product comes with 12 settings and safety with 12 hours timer.

We appreciate the quality. Fit and comfort of the mattress cover. Dual controls are easy to operate, and responsive. Preheat function is a winner. The only suggestion for improvement the instructions were one small sheet of flimsy paper jammed with small print. It made the product feel cheap- and cheap it was not

My wife and I have used a heated mattress pad for several years but needed a new one. This one suits us fine, it heats up quickly, maintains the heat, and is comfortable to sleep on. The control does not light up which can make it difficult to adjust the temperature in the middle of the night since it only lights up when the temperature control button is pressed. Since we keep the control on a night stand it is not a problem to find it and press the correct button. But since the wire cannot be placed between the box spring and the mattress but must lie under the bed, some installations may require placing the control on the floor which would make it a bit more difficult. Nevertheless, the pad works fine and we are satisfied with it. We did purchases the less complicated version since we didn’t feel a need for the features offered and we didn’t want to deal with complications. The simple, one feature pad is perfectly adequate.

This electric mattress cover is a replacement for one that never really worked properly. The duel controls allow my wife & I to use different controls for our own side of the bed. I use the Pre-Heat function to take the chill off the sheets (level 4). My wife likes a warmer setting (10) for a few hours. It fits perfectly over our new King size mattress and the heating wires aren’t felt, when lying on the bed, which happens on a lot of their competitors products. At this point (approximately 1 month) I am very happy with this warming mattress cover.

I got one of these years ago when I went up North from the deep South for residency training. Now I'm hooked, and I love it more every year, especially after menopause. They don't seem to hold up as well as they used to, but I still think they are worth the money. I use mine year-round. In the summer I often use just the preheat function to take the chill off of the sheets while I'm getting ready for bed. This mattress pad is wonderful in the winter - if my husband wants the bedroom more chilly than I do, I can set my side of the bed as warm as I desire. I love the gradient heat design so the foot is warmer than the head area. Each of us is comfortable, and no one has to get up to change the thermostat. I also appreciate the auto-off feature since my husband isn't good about turning things off. It survives washing if you follow the instructions carefully.

My wife seems to like everything about 10 degrees hotter than I do, and I don't like keeping the heater on for the whole house at night. I felt this mattress pad would be a good solution to both problems as I could lower the temperature in the house and we could still be warm, as well as she can have her own temperature and I can have a lower temperature.The first night I got this, I didn't know what to expect, so I left it on the lowest heat setting, meanwhile, my wife decided she wanted to be really warm and proceeded to set it to the highest setting (20). I warned her that the highest setting might be too hot for her, but she just thought I was being too cautious. She goes to bed a couple hours before I do since she wakes up earlier, so I let her be, and then came to bed two hours later. When I got in bed, I noticed that the bed was incredible wet, and when I touched my wife, I realized she was sleeping in a puddle and covered in sweat! I woke her up, and she had no idea, and proceeded to argue that she was not sweaty... just "clammy" lol!Needless to say, the mattress pad did it's job, my wife learned her lesson, and I immediately changed the sheets. The pad keeps us quite warm at night. In the winter I've been keeping this between 1 and 4 depending on how cold it gets at night, and my wife keeps it on low for fear of a repeated sweat puddle appearing in our bed.The preheat feature is quite nice, and we use it every night. It will make the pad go to the highest setting for whatever side you turn it on for, and then after 30 minutes, go back to whatever you're previous setting was. Each side also remembers your setting after it turns off.I'd highly recommend this mattress pad, just maybe incrementally increase the temperature until you find the right setting.

We use this almost every night in the winter. We keep the house cooler so we sleep well, but it's nice to climb into a warm bed. It works perfectly for what we want. A few things to note:1) It is not a heating pad. At its highest setting it does not get as hot as heating pads we have used in the past. I think it is functioning as designed, just know what you are buying.2) It takes a while to heat up. I generally turn it on about 30 minutes before we go to bed, and I shut it off as soon as we shut the lights off to go to sleep. Our bed retains the heat for a while and we don't overheat by leaving the mattress heater on.3) The head of the bed does not heat as much as the rest of the bed. I'm not sure if this is by design, but it's fine with us; my head doesn't normally get cold.We've washed it twice and everything still works fine. The plug at the foot of the bed is barely noticeable. It would be nice if the cords for the controllers were a little bit longer, but they are long enough to put the controllers on our respective night stands. I would certainly buy this again.

This heated mattress pad has never worked correctly. I bought it at the end of the season and didn't try it until the following winter. It heats extra hot by my head and the foot area is freezing cold. I put it on HIGH and it never heats up more than lukewarm. I have this same mattress pad on my bed at home and it works perfectly, so I bought this one for my cabin. I do not have it on the bed incorrectly. It's on it the only way it can be. It must be a factory defect that the part that is supposed to be on the feet is at the head and it's too late for me to get a refund. I am pretty sure that this was returned and sold to me at the end of the season. What a waste of money!

While the product appeared to be exactly what I wanted for a gift, but after it was given, it unfortunately did not work properly (would not heat up). It also cost more than $75 shipping and took almsot 2 weeks to arrive.After receiving it, (I do not make a habit of opening gifts I give!) I wrapped it and waited for the occassion to arrive. Of course, after the occassion, I find out it doesn't work as it is supposed to and when I contact the seller I am advised they only handle returns in the first 15 days! I was told to contact the manufacturer directly (they were very helpful) but now have to drive more than 120km to nearest authorized dealer that handles this specific type of product to see if I can get a replacement! I feel terrible as it was a gift and I don't expect the person I gave it to, to go through all these hassles.I have a long history of very successful online purchases from many different sources. Unfortunately this one has left a very poor taste in my mouth and I would be very cautious about making a purchase like this again especially as a gift.
