Kinda pricy but worth it. Kids are more confident when they ride smoothly instead of like the other training wheels I’ve bought.

These worked perfectly on 20” bike and assembled easily. Strong and sturdy and will not bend like other brands on the market. No additional hardware required (washers) as others claim. A little mechanical common sense helps when assembling them.Theses were purchased with my son in mind. Mentally handicapped he is learning to ride his bike. Because his sense of balance is off I needed training wheels that touched the ground evenly on both sides so the bike would not wobble. Tried others with no luck but these worked exactly as wanted. My son now has a little more independence’s and freedom.Highly recommend!

Definitely weird bolts/nuts/washers. But you don't need anything extra when looking at it closely. Realized that the wheel does not have bearings. the only thing it can ride on is the bolt portion that does not have threads. So here how it gos. 1)Push in washer to head of bolt 2)insert bolt into wheel 3) push in another washer 4)bolt on the nut until it reaches end of threads 5)insert into brace 6) insert washer 7)use last nut “nylon locknut” to secure. The wheel should spin freely and have a little freeplay. Enjoyupdate 4/18/19 after 3 months of riding. I hate the wheels. I upgraded to lawnmower wheels. Axles are 1/2 inch by 3 inch. Had to drill the slots a little more to fit the bolts through. Much more sturdy now and rides much better without wobble

We were looking specificly for a training wheel for a 20" child's bike (ours is a Trek Mystic) for our tall 6.5 year old without having the bracket be in two pieces. We didn't have with length on the axle to install the great Wald ones we had used on a smaller bike.Having been familiar with Sunlite brand from a previous purchase for my own bike, I felt confident in the brand.Big win! These things are HEAVY! No junk metal. The welds are clean which is always an indicator of their being strong.Doesn't come with directions, but the order of the washers & nuts became obvious pretty easily. These ONLY work for a 20" bike. If you are looking for a different size, this brand makes others. These are every bit as nice as the Wald ones, either one will be safe & strong, but if you don't have much axle length, I'd highly suggest looking at these before considering replacing an axle.

Fit perfectly on a 20" bike with a wide horizontal frame. Padded crescent fit over the wider frame easily. Bolted in fine to axle and fit in the protective cover of the bike. Another reviewer commented that the rubber on the wheels didn't hold up but I can't comment on that just yet as they have not been used. Purchased another brand that would not fit on the wide frame. Lower slots for wheel adjustment seem long enough to raise the wheels high enough to encourage balance rather than dependence.

I give this product 4 stars. The thickness is a nice quality, I used this on an 18 inch BMX for my grandson. The rear axle was a 14mm and initially did not have enough bolt room for the other types of training wheels. I used a metal drill to make this set fit a 14mm axle and it fit perfectly. Note on 18 inch bikes, you will have to use a pipe wrench to bend the training wheels bar to the proper height of the wheel; so the wheel touches the ground. Just a little sweat work, but thats what we do to make things work.

These were perfect, solid, sturdy and really good quality for the price Assembly instructions..look up on internet. Overall easy to install once you figure out what to do. These were for an almost 8 old so had to be really solid. The few bike rides we have had..these worked great. Highly recommend

After looking at several train I g wheels sets for my daughter on Amazon. I came across this and decided to spend the extra few bucks to get a better quality set. So order it.comes in time. Then go to put them on my daughter's bike. And the instructions that came with it. Which is just a picture. Makes it seem really easy to put together. No. The complete opposite. The way the pi tire tells you to do it doesn't make sense. It's too loose. So I had to improvise to even get them to be put together some what decent. We take the bike outside and practice in driveway and wheel breaks off not 5 minutes into it. Very disappointing don't buy.
