Worth the money and does the job. Perfect length poking stick for a masonry fireplace. Very heavy, so usually I hold it a little past the handle and brace it against my forearm, which makes it easier to move around.If my house burned to the ground, I would look for this in the ashes. Truly an heirloom piece.

Great for poking logs in the fire pit and waving at dogs getting too close to the firepit. A bit heavy for folks with noodle arms, like grandma.

Exactly what I have been looking for, heavy duty and long enough to reach into the wood burner and not get burnt. It's not one of those cheap, light weight pokers that the weld seperates in less than a year. Highly recommend this one.
