It works for an Escort detector but it’s much taker and I’ll fitting than the OEM. Spend the extra dollars for OEM.

I like the adjustability of this mount, but it had to be slightly modified to work with my Whistler detector. It would not lock in, so I compared to the factory mount and realized it was slightly too long. I filed the front edge and rounded the corners a bit with a metal file. Did a little at a time until it clicked into place. Fits tight and secure now. So that's the reason for the 2 star instead of a higher rating.

Looks like a good design but the delivery and materials are very poor. I have an R8 and it looks like the metal piece locking into the R8 is not thick / strong enough. The radar will constantly shake / rattle / vibrate / you name it. I wanted this to work.

I purchased this Uniden R8 car mount, and I have been using it for over a month. I must say, I am thoroughly impressed! Honestly, I had no expectations for this good quality given the low price, but I was shockingly surprised by how well it performed. The build quality feels solid, and it's incredibly easy to install and adjust. The metal adapter fits perfectly and what I love most is how securely it holds my device in place even during below freezing temperatures. I have yet experienced any failures thus far. I have two of these, one in each of my cars. I can quickly put my R8 in either car using this mount. Its held up well over for over a year. It does slightly lose tightness over time, but that is easily fixed with some loctite. Overall I do recommend, especially for multiple vehicles.

This radar detector mount is an excellent fit for the Max360 line of radar detectors. The suction strength is impressive, especially with the pressure lock—it adheres firmly to the windshield and stays secure even during extreme heat and cold. For the price, it brings reasonable value compared to the official vendor product.That said, there are a few areas where it could improve. The material feels like cheaper plastic, which doesn’t match the premium quality of the radar detector itself. Additionally, the mount I received had a broken piece, likely due to transit, which slightly impacts the adjustment strength. It still works fine, so this is a minor setback.Another issue is that it tends to keep the radar detector in an upward position instead of flat. I’d recommend the vendor look into design tweaks to ensure the radar stays level.Overall, it’s a solid product with great suction power and a reasonable price, but a few refinements could make it even better.
