Superior Pump builds pumps that are truly Built to Last with quality components and are 100 percent factory tested. The 94705 3/4 HP shallow well jet pump features a rugged cast iron pump body for durability. Designed for shallow well applications this pump will work with wells up to 25 ft. in depth. This pump features a pre-mounted, fully adjustable pressure switch preset at 20/40 psi. A dual voltage motor, with built-in thermal overload protection, can be set for 115-Volt or 230-Volt. Tough thermoplastic impeller and glass filled thermoplastic diffuser are designed to move up to 11.8 gallons per minute at 40psi. The pump is built using a cast iron seal plate and offers 1-1/4 inch NPT suction/1 inch NPT discharge.

I owned the 1/2 HP and 3/4 HP pumps. Both fail to start after a while. The motor starting torque isn’t sufficient to drive the pump and it just hums when electricity is applied. The only way to get it running is to cut off the back protective cover and use a stick to push the cooling fins to get it started.

Probably just a badluck but there is a crack in the cast iron part so slow leak after installation , paint is already peeling because of the crack. Returning the pump. Box was damaged upon arrival.

Had a broken air pressure gauge out of the box. Called customer servce. Arrangement for new part was made within two minutes. Arrived a few days later. Installed the pump three weeks ago. Works better than any of the pumps I have installed at my home in the last 33 years. These people mean business. I'm sold on SUPERIOR PUMPS.

Package Came in pretty beat up and the pump had a damaged pressure cutoff switch. Ended up having to use my old one because of time restraints. The pump itself seems pretty good, but it is not boxed very well. They should and could have known better. It’s heavy and easy to damage

I had one of these before and the price was right. I purchased it simply based on price and because I already had the lines plumbed for this model. Ours is used for watering a garden or plants mostly so not a lot of heavy use. Only drawback is it lasts about 3 years only and then the motor shorted out.

Will not easily prime. Priming was not an issue after I up-sized the intake PVC to 1"...and changed out the hydro/rubber check-valve with for a PVC check valve. Now I don't have to prime it. Just turn it on and immediately get water with plenty of pressure.

This was a replacement for an existing pump. I liked the fact that it was an exact replacement, so installation was easy.

I purchased this pump about 6 months ago. Installation was easy since I was replacing a similar pump. I have a 35 gallon tank on my system, so I use it for car washing, hand watering and law irrigation. I replaced a 1hp centrifuge type pump that had a bearing going bad, and I felt was too large for my application anyway.I resoded my yard and planted two palms in May, so the pump has been used pretty heavily this summer. It seems to be well constructed. It is exposed to the weather although I have a cheap plastic cover over the motor. I have the pressure cut-out set around 55psi, and it never drops below 40psi even on my largest zones. This is my first jet pump, but seems like a good value. I don't have a lot of experience with pumps, but I would recommend it.
