I still go roller skating eight wheel kind sometimes the bearings go bad and you have to pull the bearings out and put new ones in the bearing puller makes this all possible

Bolted this down to my work bench and I use it regularly. Works perfect for my roller skate bearings.

I found that at least for me, the bearing press will almost never get the bearings in 100%. I usually have to put an extra bearing on either side as a spacer so it will push in all the way. I think I probably would have rather gotten the bones bearings puller. Or a different bearing press.

Easy to use and gets the job done for both 7mm and 8mm wheels and bearings. This is a must buy item for roller skaters.

Very happy with the solid build quality and the ease of use of both functions. Description says "Not designed for use with aluminum cored wheels." but I've not had an issue with that aspect. Hooks length can be adjusted by turning it like a screw.

Easy to use and effective. Makes pulling bearings from the Famus Joe Atkinson wheels much easier, same with safely pressing my ceramics back in without banging on them. Worth every penny.

For 70mm wheels or smaller. I am going to grind down the press so I can fit my 80mm wheels in it but I can push my bearings into my current skates by hand so I only really need this as a puller not a press. Important to note that the puller tip screws in and out so if it is too narrow to grab your bearings, as mine was when I received it, just screw it outwards until it works.

I play roller derby and wanted a bearings press because I find it difficult and time consuming to remove wheel bearings with a regular bearings tool. My original solution to this problem was to buy a set of bearings for each additional set of wheels I purchased, but this became expensive. What made me choose this particular bearings press is that it's portable and doesn't have to be anchored to a table. This allows me to bring it to practices and bouts and share it with other skaters. One thing I'd like to suggest is that the seller provide instructions. How to use the bearings press might seem obvious, but little things like not knowing to pull the hook out far enough for it to grab the bearing made it impossible for me to get the bearings press to work until another skater showed me. The lack of instructions is what made me give a rating of 4 instead of 5.
