These are high-quality real leather boots. They were easy for me to put on (which is something because I struggle with hockey skates and other boots that are my size. I did go a half size bigger for this reason, and the ease with which I put them on was good. Also, they were not too sloppy, so that was good too.On the bottom, there is a very good non-slip sole. On the leather uppers of the shoe part, there are patterns made out of dark brown thread on a medium brown leather. That part is gorgeous and should have been continued throughout. Instead, they put light blue and orange thread on the leg part. The best thing I can say about that is that my jeans cover it nicely. Why not just continue the dark brown thread throughout? It would have been a much nicer, more masculine boot. They are comfortable on my feet, but I don't have arches. So no "rock in the shoe" feel here. But if you have strong arches that need support, you are going to need an insert for these. Ultimately, these are a good value for the price if you don't mind light blue and orange. But personally, I would probably go for something with black or dark brown highlights given the choice.4/5 for non-masculine pattern on men's boots.

This was the third pair of Sureway Western-style boots I've picked up, the fifth pair of Sureway boots overall, and they're every bit as nice as the others. As with any decent quality boots, I highly recommend spending another 30 bucks or so to get some nice insoles. If you really want to amp up the comfort, use a boot stretcher to really get a custom fit on the heel pocket and toe bridge. Where these boots are real leather, a boot stretcher will work very well. These boots fit nicely, and once they're fitted properly, they're incredibly comfortable. In my 20's and 30's, I wore numerous pairs of hand-made leather mountaineering boots that were custom-fitted, and these are as comfortable as any of them. They have a bit of heft to them, enough that you can tell they're good quality, but the don't feel heavy or clunky. And the leather feels solid and durable. The stitching is well done on the upper and the sole, and everything seems to be holding up really nicely after about a month of use. Overall, these are awesome boots and I plan on picking up several more pairs in the near future, maybe some darker brown and black ones.

Bought these for my son, He loves them!! They are really great quality which I was not expecting since they are reasonably priced. The sizing is not very accurate. He usually wears a 9 and the size chart showed that he needed a 7.5 so I just guessed and ordered him a 8 and they fit perfect.

True confession time: I'm about the farthest thing from a cowboy there is. I'm super picky about the Country music I listen to; only a handful make my playlist. On occasion, however, I am called on to DJ for Country dances or themed events. Naturally, I dress the part! I've got the obligatory hat, a few Garth-esque shirts, some cool bolo ties and some nice leather belts with Western-style belt buckles, and jeans... blue, of course. Until now, though, I never had that final finishing touch: the boots. I never could afford the boots.Until now. Finding these here was a big surprise. They seemed far too inexpensive to be real leather, but here they are, with all of the rich stitching and detail of the iconic boots of cowboys everywhere! Yes, they're fancy, but also tough as nails. The double-stitched soles look made for real walking and working, and I like the squared toe much better than the old pointy ones. The sizing is perfect and they slide on with no "break-in" period required. The real surprise is the super comfortable insole! I decided to put some real mileage on them over the course of a super busy work day. Until someone remarked on them, I had almost forgotten I had them on! They're practical as well as pretty. The lower is reminiscent of the shop boots I wore on the assembly line, but the well-matched material of the sole and upper makes them eye-catching. Well worth the asking price! My only complaint (and word of caution): don't shovel snow in them...or wear some really thick socks! Add a + to the above 5 stars!
