Haven’t used it yet but this tube dispenser comes with six extrusion design cones and can operate with one hand. Looks easy to use. We expect great design results.

Simple to use. Nice option of different tips. Great for deviled eggs. Kind of hard to clean.

We make cream filled pastries very occasionally. This tool makes filling them very easy. But there was leakage around the plunger and the nozzle would probably be pushed off if you fill it with something thicker than a pudding consistency.

This overall is sturdier than I expected, although smaller. Adequate for home baking--if you are doing a lot of baking or sell your wares, you will probably want something else. But to decorate the occasional cake or cupcakes, this will work well. It just comes in a plastic bag with the pieces inside, no box, no instructions. So, I was going to write that I had a really hard time inserting the icing tips in the injector--until I realized that you screw off a cap at the end to put them on. The other end also screws off to fill it with icing. This is hard plastic and sturdily made. The product page says that it comes with 6 icing tips, I have 5--but honestly I think they will not look that different anyway so I don't care much about the loss of one tip. It would be nice to have more variety, but this is adequate.Maybe this varies from product to product, but even though I have 5 tips--two of them are just a little too narrow and fall through the hole where they are supposed to be inserted! So, I have three working tips that seem to fit snugly where they are supposed to--the other two, perhaps I could balance them in there but once you try squeezing icing out, they are certainly going to fall off. I will probably find a way to jerryrig these if for some reason I need them. The problem here is that one of them I believe is the tool used if you wanted to make filled cupcakes--which I never have done in my whole life, so not sure if this is a problem. Still, if you are promised 6 tips you should get 6, and all of them should fit properly into the mechanism.

I used this to decorate a cake. It is not heavy duty by any means, and also it doesn't hold much frosting. I kept having to put more frosting in the gun in order to decorate the cake and it was really annoying.

The product worked as expected. It made it easier for me to prepare deviled eggs. I would use it every time I make them.

I first tried it with cream cheese cake frosting and it was too thick to stick into the tube. A few weeks later I tried it with deviled eggs topping which was much more liquid. So I didn't expect to have a problem. But I did. The first 6 or 7 deviled eggs squirted out beautifully as I expected. But then the unit jammed and would no longer dispense the deviled egg mixture. I had mixed the batter with a blender on high speed so a clog could have not caused the problem. I had high hopes for this unit since it was so cheap and did not require purchase of extra bags. I admit that it is much harder to scrape stuff into a narrow tube to get it to dispense. I don't know if anyone has solved that problem yet but when I mix something up it is a real pain to try to get it into a narrow fixture just to pump it out into a fancy output. Hardly worth it for a novice like myself.
