Finally, after kissing several frogs with other platter brands, the prince has arrived. Not too heavy (but certainly not a fragile feel), beautifully framed & absolute spot-on dimensions I was hoping for. Platter weighs in at 2 lbs, 6 oz. each, easily manageable without killing my wrists. Love serving teriyaki on platters like this, makes everyday dinner feel special. May have to order another set!

As I’ve stated in previous reviews, Sweese is an awesome brand for kitchen wares. I have confidence in this brand and love the versatility of their minimalist designs. I have already gotten good use out of the 703.101 size (largest).My only qualm with these platters is that some of the photos on Amazon display a deceptively larger rim along the edges, which might be confused for the smaller 705.101 series. In reality, the margins on the 703.101 are very slim, which doesn’t look and feel as luxurious. The upshot to this, however, is increased serving capacity. I would have liked to have purchased a large platter with the same wider margins of the 705.101.Be sure to scroll down to the “Product Description” section to check out the detailed photo of all the sizes available of the Sweese serving platters family to help find the right size to fit your needs.
