Good for beginners and pros but when I first received it the box was dented and the cups on the kendama had a little orange stain.

My 22 year old son has fond memories of playing kendama in childhood, but his old one was broken and missing the ball. I chose this Sweets Boost Sport Stripe for him as a Christmas gift and he loved it and started using it right away. Just like riding a bike!

Been having it for a while now. It's a good toy to kill time, or force yourself to stand up from the chair once a while.

迅速な対応ありがとうございます。スイーツけん玉は、ソルに比べて若干小ぶりですが、カチッカチッと小気味良い木の干渉音が気に入ってます👍デザインもシンプルな横ラインの視認性が良き!

I ordered this for my stepson because he liked playing with my old ones. I decided to get myself a new one too. They play great. I’ve since bought 3 more directly from Sweets website. They have some more “top shelf” stuff on their website. They’ve held up pretty great too, even after some pretty hard play. I definitely recommend.

I like that there are simple instructions and explanations of parts of the kendama. It is really fun to play with, only just started but love the feel of the handle.

I played with one of these when I spent some time in Japan. Watching those guys master all the different moves was just amazing. When I came home to the United States I bought one and I’ve been practicing ever since. This is my fifth one and I bought it for my classroom. When my students need a brain break they can step aside and do this. I have shown them some of the moves and as they master them we have a great celebration. This is a very sturdy and wonderful toy.

After reading the article in the Star Tribune newspaper on Sweets and kendamas, I knew I had to try one out. I looked carefully and got what I think is a good beginners kendama. In spite of the demographic for these leaning heavily towards males I would guess to be about 21 to maybe 35, and I am a 65+ cis gendered female, got this for the feeling of satisfaction when I actually can catch one and am getting calf and tendon stretches at the same time! So I say, Sweets & Co., you need to expand your potential base for these things! Kendamas are devilishly difficult, so you learn (or don't :) patience too. Time isolated inside during the pandemic doesn't have to be a total waste and maybe once we're all vaccinated we can hold "Old Farts" kendama competitions!

I am.... well... to be blunt... TERRIBLE with the KEndama. But dang.... it's a lot of fun. I keep this in my drawer at work. When I'm waiting for an export, I reach in, grab it, and attempt to catch the ball on the spike. It's rare, but I catch it fro time to time.Quality seems good. I've beat the heck out of it. I would recommend Sweets to anyone looking to kill some time and have some fun.
