As with it's predecessor, The Original, the ST3 is designed to provide a unique resistance workout for swimmers of all skill levels. Quickly install and assemble to swim in most swim spas and swimming pools. A minimum of 14 feet of swim space is recommended. I thought it would be a drag - but I love it - amazed that “swimming in place” could be so enjoyable. I watched YouTube “SwimCycleRun” and he said get a front facing snorkel and a shoulder harness - so I was prepared before my first tether swim. Without them, the waves would make tether swimming in a small pool really tough.

This swim tether is well-made - it comes with a concrete installation plate, but if you want to install in a swim spa or on a deck , you will have to contact the manufacturer for the threaded installation or get a little creative. The belt is comfortable, and the kit comes with three lengths of tether cord - 4.5', 6' and 8'. I'm really not sure when you would want to use the shorter cords except for small children. The flexrod pole measures almost 6' tall, so with the longest tether cord, it will accommodate just about any height.

The tether is really good quality, and works as expected. Probably on the pricey side for what you actually get, but no complaints whatsoever on how it functions.
