Looks fine and would probably work fine, but my current valve handle broke and I wanted this particular model shown for replacement as the black handle pops off and is easily replaceable.

I just love it when I get used product that seems to be oiled at one end and glued shut at the other. This came opened and barely repackaged after waiting a long time for it. If its defective, why send it out 2x?

This valve turns easier then others I have had. Seems to have held up good this season. Hope to get a whole bunch more out it.

The product is very solid and exactly as described. I would recommend this product over other similar valves advertised and sold through Amazon. Very good quality.Take care - I did not receive all parts in the order. When I opened the box from Amazon I initially didn't notice that one of the bags containing the valves was open and parts were missing. I didn't realize this until I pulled everything out to fix my pool this month as Fall is approaching. I have not, as yet, been able to find a route to get this resolved. I will see if I can get help resolving this through Amazon or the actual vendor. In the mean time I was forced to order another valve assembly to complete the pool repairs.

So much better than the ones I found at the local pool shops. This is replacing the ones I purchased just a couple of years ago that are already breaking. I like that the resistance is independent of how tight or loose the connection are. With the other style it is a pain to have to loosen the connection just to turn the handle.

I wish I bought these years ago! They are SO much better than the garbage they sell at the local pool stores (which cost at least $25 or more and the handles always break and the valve leaks within the first year).These handles are sturdy and will not break off like the other types. Also the valve seal is much thicker and will not leak.These are the valves to get for your above ground pool!

If one could love a valve, I love this valve. It's heavy duty construction, easy to turn & ergonomically correct handle make this an excellent option for pool filters! Also it is 1/3 the cost of other inferior valves that break on the 1st use.

This is a nice sturdy pool filter plastic valve. The only complaint I have is that it is hard to turn on and off. It is very tight fit where the ball turns inside. I tried lubing it but it did not help too much.
