Very smooth. Durable. Nice surface. The hammering of this to get the pieces to fit are incredibly frustrated. Rubber mallet required. I think they could’ve matching these slightly better. Some pieces just won’t go. Would be 5 stars if the pieces would somewhat fit.

I just installed these. Did an area about 15’x18’ and the kids love it. Some snagging where panels connect but it’s expected I think and pretty minor. So far, they’re pretty great.

I bought over $1,000 worth of these and they fit together fine, lay flat and are great for shooting with shoes or to stand on with skates but they are not "skateable" in my opinion. I tried to skate on these and simply did not move at all, just stuck...even when pushing pretty hard it was like trying to skate on a rug. My son, who weighs about 70 pounds was able to skate around a bit so if you are heavier ( I weigh about 200 lbs ) it seems to not work since there is too much friction I guess, so I am quite disappointed.

The synthetic ice kit is a game-changer! My son absolutely loves it, and the best part he is no longer ruining our concrete while practicing. The surface works great for skating, and the kit has provided hours of fun and training.That said, I wish the edging was included with the kit. Considering the high price, it feels like edging should be standard rather than an additional purchase. It would make the setup feel more complete and seamless.Overall, it’s a great product that delivers on performance and durability, but the lack of edging included is a minor disappointment.

Skates don't glide at all, maybe one stride glides one feet or so... Puck doesn't glide well either, unless using the spray... Worst part, seams are not flat and puck would bounce off seam
