Tips and Tricks
Need to lower the viscosity? The Marine Spar Varnish can be thinned with mineral spirits at up to 10-15% by weight.

This product is excellent. It is UV rated and goes on great with a spaygun or brush. Put it on my wood boat 3 years ago and it still looks bright.

I used this product to protect wood plant shelves on a patio. This produce has protected the wood from outdoor elements. Great product. Easy to apply and clean up.

Beautiful finish. I'd put an epoxy two part varnish on my wooden kayak, then realized it offered no UV protection. Added this one and its beautiful

I have used this product for years at a marine varnish for my wooden kayaks. They are always sealed with fiberglass and epoxy/resin. Other reviews were talking about using it on doors. Not the appropriate product. It is a marine varnish intended to use on boats, kayaks, canoes, etc. Excellent product. I renew the varnish on my boats every 2-3 years. They are stored inside when not in use so less UV damage. One kayak has last 19 years and looks as good as new.

Made my kayak beautiful. I did have a bit of a problem finding the right thickness, the first coat I added thinner on a 1-10 ratio and this made it thin enough that running was a problem, so I didn’t add any thinner on the second coat and that coat went on too thick. Find the sweet spot and you’ll love this rod it.

A decent but not top of the line far anushka. Still quite expensive. Much less expensive than the best varnishes! I'll use it on the big areas of my boat-not the delicate solid wood areas
