They are sharp, cut well, and are lean enough to reach into small spaces. The closing strap, which is tethered to one side, is a good way to close and open these snippers.

These Pruning Shears work as expected and are an excellent value. The only thing I'll call out is that the attached strap at the bottom that holds these closed will eventually wear and likely tear. I suppose a rubber band or even a zip-tie could work at that point. Certainly not a concern considering the value - these do cut well on my tomato and pepper plants, or other stems like flowers (roses) etc. Should not use on woodier-type stems so you don't harm the blades.

They're easy to use, sharp, and get into small places when you need them to. They are comfy, don't cause hand strain. I don't use them for heavy woody stems, though they would cut them, because I like to keep one of my clippers nice and sharp for the more tender stems. Anything up to rose stems is fine.One bit of caution, don't leave them in your back pocket then get in your car or sit on furniture. They WILL poke a hole in just about any upholstry.

One star off because I don't like the closed locking mechanism. The strap will eventually break. I'd rather rely on a metal slider near the hinge, or similar method integrated into the tool that keeps the blades shut for storage. Otherwise, very happy with this product.

The round nose tips of the blades are so helpful in getting into tight spaces, especially when trying to pinch new growth on fragile plants. I like the idea of the piece of material at the bottom of the handles that keeps the blades together when you're not using them. I think they could come up with a better design though. It gets in the way. But that is just a minimal complaint. These are great snippers
