Mounting hardware is a joke. See picture , the screws do not have threads all the way down the shank. Screws are too long for the anchors to support properly, unless you are anchoring to a stud in which case you won't need the anchors.

I have brought one for myself and one for my bother. It holds our gear well even when we have level 4 plates in our vest. Much better than having the gear sitting in a chair or the floor for the work day.

The screws they include have about a half of an inch of unthreaded section right behind the head so it’s impossible to make it tight and secure against a wall even using the anchors. They really need to do away with the current screws they give with the hanger. If you use their screws it will sag off the wall. Imagine using something that’s half screw half nail. If the entire screw was threaded it would hold tight against the wall. It would get 5 stars if the screws were useful. Haven’t decided yet if I’m going to the local hardware store to get actual screws or if I’m returning it.

Came with ZERO hardware. I Ordered a replacement and I hope I have better luck with the next one. The fit of the felt you have to peel and cut because its too big for the recessed area in the wood.

Definitely use your own screws. But this is a very attractive and heavy duty hanger that my husband loves. Bought it for him as a surprise gift. He didn’t think he’d like it but he loves the convenience. He’s been using it daily for 7 weeks now no issues (once he used his own screws).

The build quality or the individual pieces look good. Very good actually. Mine did not come with hardware though. I reached out to their customer service via email about three or four days ago and haven’t gotten a response back. If they respond to me soon, I’ll update the rating with for the assembled product but right now I just have a bunch of parts.The idea of getting this instead of going to the hardware stores was to get something that’s ready out of the box. This was not that.UPDATE:This is my third time trying to update this review. Customer service came in clutch and sent an entire new unit to me. It installed easy and works and looks perfect. Buy with confidence.
