This shirt is very lightweight and the material soft. It does not have a back vent like most fishing shirts do, but I am not sure I miss that much. The price is right for what you get. Less than half a Columbia and still has the 50+ sun protection.

Bought it for hiking and to wear on my motorcycle. It's extremely light and comfortable. Only problems are the shoulders are a little skinny and the arms a little short. No big deal if you roll the sleeves.

I was expecting something like the fishing shirts I've owned in the past. They, without exception, were of a coarse, stiff fabric, that seemed like it was designed specifically to sandpaper my nipples off.This shirt is made of a much softer, thinner fabric - like some sort of weird cross-breed between silk and ripstop nylon, as if ripstop silk were a thing. It's comfy, nipples bled not a bit.It looks good, too. I sit between a US L and a US XL - I wear L for most things, for most brands. Chinese-made clothing tends to run small-ish, in my experience, so I ordered XL; it's wearable, but very large on me - seems their sizes run true, perhaps slightly larger than average, so don't size it up to compensate for odd Chinese sizing.Oh - one little touch I appreciate - on the back of the tail, on the backside of one of the plackets (?) - is a strip of microfiber felt, for wiping your glasses.
