They are much MUCH sturdier than my K&M 210/9 stands which just kept sagging. I am trying to get rid of mine now after getting two of these. When you tighten down the thing it just stays there. It has 0 give. Its not moving or sagging ever.

THIS THING IS AMAZING! Highly recommend. I'm gigging all the time and people are always checking out this stand. It's pricey compared to other options but it's better to buy one good one than 10 crappy ones.

I was very pleased to see the high quality of this stand. I have not used it, but taking it out of the box, I saw how well built it was, and I knowit will perform well on the stage. It was just like I had thought..... Made like the Drum equipment, which is made to last under many times of beingset up and torn down, as well as being used hard as drums have.I will be replacing my stands each year with the Tama MS205 stands. Mic stand parts always break, but not with this TAMA Mic stand. I gig a lot, and am done with replacing cheap mic stands. This one is awesome. I would recommend. It's heavy, but in a good way.

I'm a gigging musician and our usual sound production company would provide this microphone stand and I love it! Whenever we have a show at a venue with in-house sound or if we use another production company, I always miss having the Tama stand. So, the only way to ensure that I always have one, is to buy my own. Now I bring it with me to every show, and it's just fantastic. Strong, sturdy, easily adjustable, and it stays where I put it. It will probably be the last microphone stand I'll need to buy, but if I do need another, it will be one of these.

I found it to be a nice, heavy microphone stand, well made, and I can find no faults with it. I am curious why they would discontinue making this model, but its nice for the price too. Very pleased with it.
