The lens is great !! I am having lots of fun with it, however the other items are not so great, for instance, the tripod I had to throw away since it had a sticky glue all around that was impossible to clean.. and you could not manipulate the camera after touching it.. had to wash your hands thoroughly.. the inflatable backpack does not hold the air .. cheap quality

There are a plethora of reviews of the Lens which I agree with whole heartedly! It is a great travel lens in a very usable focal length. I tend to be a prime lens user and the way this lens works for me is that it is my one and only zoom lens that fills the gaps in focal lengths that my prime lenses do not cover or if I'm in an environment that I do not want to change lenses. As for the Kit, You are essentially getting it for free so I cannot be too critical. The only things that interested me in the kit were the lens pouches and the memory card. Unfortunately the kit shorted me the memory card. Oh well, Like I said it was free so no biggie but it is why I deducted a star.

I'm an amateur photographer and decided to go a step further with this lens. I'm very happy with the versatility of this lens as an all purpose travel lens. I have a Sony a6000 and a Sony a7C. This lens works beautifully with either camera, and happy with the results! The auto focus works great, and it works well in most cases in low light as well as bright light and close subjects.

Lens fantastic, the grab bag of extra crap is just that - crap. Especially the “camera bag”. Only bought this because I got it open box for $593 vs the lens along being $780ish in most listings. No issues with the lack of stabilization and my Sony A7ii in-body stabilization handles it flawlessly as far as I can tell. Seller got it to me in 24 hours so can’t knock that - happy buyer, would definitely recommend if you’re looking for an all in one full frame Sony emount lens.

I love this lens. It’s well built. Great optics, and good auto focus. And at a price point that made it affordable to me. Admittedly, if I could be emperor of physics, optical and financial reality, I’d make it 18mm-200, f/2.8 constant. But that would make it much heavier, and way more expensive. But this is a great lens. I definitely recommend it.

I own the Tamron 28-75 and 17-28 F2.8 lenses. So it was only natural that I get this lens for travel and I am currently planning on getting the 70-180 F2.8 later this year. The lens has a similar design and build quality as all the other lenses and I love it. Not super robust, but sturdy and well built. Maybe the lens I received was a bad copy because everyone is raving about this lens. The picture quality looked good on my camera screen, but when brought into the computer screen.. it was just off focus by a little. Then when it does get the focus right, it is very sharp and the image quality is superb. But the accuracy, at least for my copy, was about 50/50. So I had to return it. Maybe I'll try getting another one again. But for now, I think I'm still ok with what I have. When this pandemic is resolved I feel like getting on a plane is fine, then I will purchase the lens again and hopefully it's a good copy of it!
