I was a little worried about buying this amp after reading online reviews about it's power consumption. I have a (real and put to the test) upgraded alternator, so I decided to take a chance. What a change!! I have always loved 12's, but before buying this amp I was ready to move up to 15's, even though I had my enclosure custom built and love it! No need to do that! My subs hit now... big time. My moonroof cover makes waves and my sunglass holder opens and throws my sunglasses across the car. I will admit that it was dimming my lights a bit at first, but I replaced my battery and it seems fine now. I think it's a great amp for the money! I'm old school and used to pay huge money for my beloved A/D/S amplifiers. Those days are over!

Just paired it with two kicker l7s and I haven’t really turned up the gain but it sounds good even at 20% so I’m interested to see how it sounds once subs are broken in. The only issue I had was I have true 1/0 gauge power and ground wire and it barely fit. I had to cut from the ofc wire to fit them in. It’s more like 4 gauge instead of 0 gauge inputs. Aside from this, not too bad. Good budget amp

Not such good luck with this purchase it was brand new and sealed i dont know if I got one of the bad batches or what but after it was professionally installed it went into protect mode and never came out the gain was even set to 1/4 power just to be sure nothing would be set too high and it still went into protect mode and never worked now I have to wait 37 days from the time amazon receives my return to get my refund which is ridiculous ill never buy another electronic from Amazon ever again

If you don't no about this amp it's all that and more I never heard of the smart 3 amp friend told me about it I looked it up on u tub after that had to get it and it hits hard and it's vary affordable compared u get way more then you pay for with this one
