I use these poles with my car-camper tent. They're very sturdy. Each pole has multiple segments so you can adjust their height. Packs neatly into their bag for storage and transport after breaking camp.

These tent poles are great! We use 4 of them, along with a tarp, to extend the awning on our camper when it rains. The adjustable height of the poles allows us to channel the rainwater off of the tarp. They are sturdy and have held up through several rain storms.

I have a beach canopy. It would act as a wind sail since it only came with two legs that were a fixed height. I think as looking for another set of legs that can be adjusted since dropping a leg to beat the sun and wind would be necessary sometimes. This did the job perfectly.I went with a slotted legs versus the telescoping because of the fine sand just messing with the rubber grommets over time. This is all mechanical and my only upkeep is hosing the salt of it. I do this with the entire gear set up anyways.

Festival Wochenende gut überstanden, war alles dabei kleines Gewitter, Starkregen, Sonne, Leichte Brise. Die Stangen haben ihre Aufgabe erfüllt. Lassen sich leicht zusammen und auseinander stecken. Werde definitiv noch mal ein Paar bestellen.

I purchased these poles to help secure one side of a small sunshade when there wasn’t a tree close by. They are fairly easy to set up, but the aluminum is a tad thin so be gentle when pushing and locking them together. I do like that you can customize how tall they are simply by leaving out however many sections you need.There wasn’t a lot of wind on this particular trip, but you wouldn’t want to leave them out without some kind of anchor in place if there was wind. Unfortunately there isn’t a “foot” on the ground pole, it’s just a rubber tip. I’ll probably try to rig up some kind of foot with a stake hole drilled through it for some kind of anchoring ability before using them again.

I've only used them once. They seemed flimsy as hell before I used them. To my surprise they held very strong during my trip. I anticipated them being ok for moderate winds and I ended up experiencing pretty strong constant and gusts of wind. Used them in a wide open canyon with a tent tarp(cheap one) and they came out the same as before the 4 day trip. For the price I don't see how these can be beat. Great product.

I've been developing my base camp set up and realized that bringing my own shade would ensure my maximum comfort after coming off the mountain. I enjoy the outdoors, enough to know not every camp site had great shade. With that...These poles work as described. They can be used in many different configurations, and they seem to take a plenty tension. One did start to bow just a tad after I put too much tension on it, during my initial testing... but it still works great. I own 2 pairs, but I am planning to purchase another to add a mesh tarp over my car as well, or other tents.
