Used these for my header swap on my truck off recommendation from my coworker and i can confidently say i am impressed with the overall quality of these wires. I’ve seen reviews saying they just pop off but you really got to make sure that the plug is seated right or it won’t seat fully. They might be a lil pricey but they’re worth every dollar. Will be buying for my next project.

They don't hold up if close - go ceramic if your close. Had two brun up and spark outside of the boot. Swapped to ceramic and no problems.

These Taylor 10mm wires are badass! They are reasonably priced, and so far work great! I also have boots on them for extra peace of mind but have not had any probs with heat or melting a wire with these shorty headers. I also like the 45 degree boots at the plugs, you can kinda twist the boot on the plug and it will allow you to direct the wire in a direction away from the pipe. The shorter wires are too short, but the longer ones are perfect. I would definitely recommend these wires to a buddy or family member and I will also be buying them again.

As an update plugs have been used for a little over 6 weeks and at least one is causing a misfire. Looked at it at night and seen spark jumping from the center of the 90 at the plug to the manifold. Thought these were great wires. But now I'm doubting that.Idk what the guy talking about they don't fit any LS Trucks. Summit and Amazon and Jegs and Taylor theirselves are not wrong. Have a 02 5.3 with speed engineering longtube headers, these wires fit perfect. They clip really snug in plugs and coils alike and are angled exactly as needed to clear the headers.

Plugs work great but they are a little long for a '13 GMC SIERRA 5.3, had to turn them so they have a curly que in them so they dont hit the headers

Review of https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00ER0RIAE/ref=cm_cr_ryp_prd_ttl_sol_7 for my 2005 Silverado 5.3L. I just changed out the factory plugs and wires (164K miles on them). There were no issues with them, I just finally acknowledged they are getting old. I installed NGK Iridiums. I noticed that these are different from the factory wires in a number a ways. One, they are much thicker. I don't have any wire supports, so no problem there. These are about a foot long and connect the plug and coil directly above the plug. I noticed the factory wires have long straight boots and long, several inches long that fit to a metal protective shield. These are low profile boots and much thicker and angled. They have a square area to help you squeeze in the area of where the plug and terminal are. In my case, some boots touch the exhaust manifold bolts. Others don't touch anything. So the jury will be out on if they melt or not. Perhaps the factory installed the shields because of their really thin cables needed as much help as possible. Still, my AC Delcos held up nicely, and I may have considered staying with them had they not been so expensive. We'll see if all the hype of these are worth it. They do look pretty in the engine. The box shows these are made in the USA, so that is a plus. The only negative I had was the bit of effort to get these on the plugs. I used the usual dielectric grease in the terminals on both ends of the cable and on the spark plug. They do click nicely when in place. I just had to wiggle and turn for that to happen. The straight boots on the factory wires came off easier by twisting and pulling. So far everything is running smooth.

Bought these from Amazon Warehouse based on strong reviews. Installed them on our 2003 Silverado w/4.8 liter engine with no problems. Together with new AC-Delco Platinum 41-962 plugs (OEM replacement) the truck runs great with excellent improvement in gas mileage. On our first highway trip got 20+ MPG (lightly loaded and no trailer). With original plugs and wires at 99,000 miles, gas mileage had drifted down over time. Hardest job was working and twisting the old ignition wires off the original plugs. HINT: based on internet forums, we twisted and worried them off with the help of channel lock pliers. A couple were really stuck. As advised, went under truck with slot head screwdriver. From below, you can get the screwdriver between the wire boot and engine -- a few twists and the old wire is moving off. Very happy with results!
