Amazing teapot. I heat it on my stove for hot chocolate and tea. I had it for 3 years when we accidentally broke it. I immediately bought another! Highly recommend!

I got the smaller one for work and the larger one for home. It's really pretty, especially when it's brewing and in sunlight, because the condensation really glitters, and the color of your tea is on display. So, a couple quick things: you need to use the metal ring with the lid. The metal ring has a few tabs which, if you need to, you can gently bend them periodically if the ring feels like it pulls off too easily. The infuser is a very thin and delicate metal, so, do NOT bang the bottom with a spoon lol, as you'll dent it trying to get the leaves out. Just scrape them out. The infuser does catch pretty fine sediment, so I find this a fair exchange. Lastly, expect to use a brush or fold paper towel or something in order to clean the spout periodically, as while it cleans up incredibly well in every other respect, sometimes the finer particles of tea will slightly stain the spout. The ridges on the inside are easy to clean and I have no problem getting my hand in there, so you're fine on that. While I haven't used this on the stove, I also haven't had any problems pouring very hot water into it without warming it first. The handle stays cool, and I like the lighter weight of the teapot. My favorite feature about it that isn't appearance-related is the spout, though. Which-- I think some people missed that part, when I was reading reviews before purchasing, but that ain't melted. That's designed, my dude, and it's designed so you don't drip tea everywhere. It does mean the spout is a little asymmetrical at the end, but I'd choose that trade any day over annoying drips. This pot has been great at making those a non-issue! I really appreciate a feature like that, which I haven't found on any other pot, or rather, this one actually works.Over time, I have noticed a tiiiiny bit of discoloration sometimes on the metal. There's no rust, nothing flaking off, just purely cosmetic, but it's mild enough that it doesn't stick out at all. Scratches, however, are forever, and I do feel like the lid itself scratches somewhat easily. On the other hand, the glass is so pretty that this isn't a deal-breaker for me. The glass itself-- no scratches, no problems, love it. I LOVE my little pumpkin-shaped pots, and they were the right choice for me.Anyway, tl;dr: if you brew many beautiful-colored teas, especially in a sunny location, this is a dream and stunner. I also rec it if you are constantly frustrated by drips. I wouldn't rec this if you're prone to dropping things or if you would be very bothered by the minuscule scratches in the lid that you will inevitably and accidentally cause.

I like when an object is both aesthetic and practical. This is the case of this tea pot. Only 4 stars because it is a little bit on the light side. I would have preferred somthing a little bit more substantial. But I still love it as is!

This is a lovely pot, and I've been happy with other Teabloom products, but this design is just flawed. As others have said, the handle tends to break or crack, and the part that holds the infuser in doesn't stay put because of the wavy glass design. The handle cracked after about 2 weeks of using it, which was a huge disappointment because this is the perfect size (and I'd just thrown all the packaging away or I'd return it).The metal ring that supports the infuser pops off often, but I'm usually able to get it to stay so not a deal breaker (but potential buyers should be aware of this potential issue).Very lovely and giftable piece, but not practical to actually use.

UPDATE: My new one is great! I’ve had it for a couple of years and have had no problems with it. It’s beautiful and of course with it being glass I have to be careful with it. I do believe the first one broke because it had a stress fracture because their box was defective that it shipped in.My teapot broke the first time I used it. I’m going to replace it and try it one more time. If it happens again, I’m just returning it. It’s beautiful but extremely fragile. The box it came in wasn’t glued together like it was supposed to be so maybe it was a stress fracture by the handle.
