I purchased this spoon for my wife to replace her last wooden spoon that had split down the middle of the spoon. I thought all wooden spoons are the same, but was wrong. This spoon feels more substantial than its replacement and I like the way it feels in my hand. The corner concept of the spoon meets a problem that I didn't know I had, but after using it I wondered why all spoons used in round pots don't have this solution. It's an attractive product that works well and seems to be waterproof, although we never plan to run it in the dishwasher. My grown kids should be thankful that we didn't have this "mean stick" when they were growing up, LOL.

My family recently started seeing the downside to plastic utensils and the potential harm in cooking with them. It was hard to find ladle type wood spoons here locally so to Amazon we went. Spoon is great quality, with a beautiful finish. It’s the perfect size for dipping out supper and would buy again if ever in need of another one.

I needed something that wouldn’t scratch my enameled cast iron Dutch oven, and didn’t want plastic. This is perfect! I also have a spatula version. I have thickly covered this with homemade wooden furniture/ cutting board polish, let sit overnight and wiped off anything that didn’t soak in with a damp paper towel. I will do this a couple times a year when I do my cutting boards and it looks wonderful. Please do not throw this in a sink of hot soapy water for long, just enough to clean off any food. Rinse and dry!I have no worries about it scratching my pans, and the price was great. I expect many more years of use.

Great spatula for Paella, it is sturdy, strong and has a wide blade to help when you are using a Paella Pan.

Mixed on this. I started getting some wood spatulas with the recent scare over recycled black plastic. This is a nice piece of wood. The bottom is a bit thick for flipping eggs easily, but it makes an excellent stirrer and/or scrapper. I like the longer handle, other options can be a bit short if things are running hot on the stove. I’ve had it about a month, so this is a short term review.Update: works great for pot roasts, chilis, beef burgundy, stews, etc. It's growing on me. I still pick something else for flipping eggs.I now see there are five items available. This review was for the "Turner/Spatula". Maybe I need to try the "Spatula"...

I first saw it used by an influencer I've been watching for many years now. This is the most sturdy, long lasting, wooden spatula I have tried. I have a bad habit of leaving it in water so every couple of years I'll buy a new one for the sharper edge but really no need. It is super easy to clean and it doesn't break the bank!
