The only thing that need improving is the metal clip that should be attached to the pistol, the metal seems weak and can break or twist in a reasonably short time. Fix that and you have a good product.

This pistol lanyard is as basic as they come. It's basically a string on a hook. It is stretchy and has good enough strength to keep the casual tug or pull from detaching your sidearm from you. There's not a lot of science to it, but it's cheap and effective. Can't really ask for more.

I purchased this for a battle belt set up to secure a tool to the belt. I am very impressed with the construction and function of this lanyard. Seems very strong and I am pleased with my purchase.By the way there is a spring in the coiled section so is comes back to the original state every time. This is not something that over time will stretch out!Recommend for any application
