My kid recently got really into Tech Decks. Because I'm not a cool gen-alpha kid, I had no idea that these were still a thing, but I'm wrong (and "cringe", apparently). Anyway, I feel like this was a good deal just for the 4 boards that come in the box. The figures were a cool feature too, as he'll play with them even though you can't really do the "sick" types of moves (kickflips and ollies) that you can do with an empty board. The figures are pretty well-made, and once you figure out that you can bend them pretty far without breaking, they're easy to snap onto the boards. The only thing that was only OK was the box. He already has a dedicate skate park setup, so he won't be using the box, but I asked my daughter to try it out to see if it's any good. It took a lot of bending the seams backwards to get it to stay open, but once it laid flat, it stayed that way. You'd definitely want to use this on a carpeted floor, as even there, it slides around a good bit when doing tricks. The box is probably still cool for a young kid who's an absolute beginner, though.

If you know these skateboards, you understand how much kids adore them. My kids take them everywhere, and since they fit right in their pockets, they’re always on hand. Now, with this skatepark, they’re having a blast! The skatepark comes flat in a box, and once you open it, it transforms into a skatepark. It’s sturdy enough but not overly thick, so you need to handle it with care. The base is made of cardboard, so keep it away from water. The plastic parts might break easily if mishandled. I really appreciate that the packaging is waste-free; everything is utilized, and nothing goes to waste. Overall, it’s a fantastic toy or gift option.

This Tech Deck skateboard set is really cute. I love the vibrant colors and figures. The ramps are the plastic box, which is really just that thick plastic packaging you have to cut through to get to many toys/products. It is not a thick or durable plastic. But the figurines are cute to display or play with. I think kids with older siblings using Tech Decks might enjoy this set, or someone looking to collect the figurines. This review was for: TECH DECK Sk8 Crew Fun Box, Portable Transforming Sk8 Park with 4 Fingerboards & 5 Figures, Collectible Mini Skateboards, Kids Toys for Ages 5 & Up

I had high hopes for the TECH DECK Sk8 Crew Fun Box, but unfortunately, it fell short of expectations. While the concept is great—having a portable skate park with multiple fingerboards and figures—the execution leaves a lot to be desired. The biggest issue is the build quality. The ramps feel flimsy and don’t stay in place well, making tricks frustrating. The included figures are more for display than actual use, as they don’t stand or interact with the boards properly. Also, for the price, I expected sturdier materials and better design. It’s still a fun set for younger kids who just want to play casually, but serious Tech Deck fans will likely be disappointed. Wouldn’t recommend unless it’s on sale.

The TECH DECK Sk8 Crew Fun Box has many skate boards and figures for hours of fun. The package turns into a mini skate park so it fun to play.Is easy to ensemble, and the skateboards are high quality and durable. The vinyl figures can be put in any skateboard.Overall a good value and fun to use.

This would be an okay toy but the ramp is just the box the figures come in and is cheap plastic. It doesn't feel good to use the ramps, and the scale is way off for the figures. The figures are also very stiff and I couldn't get several attached to the boards. If someone is interested in tech decks or fingerboards, I wouldn't start them with this set.

My daughter was so excited to open this skateboard play set. You get the ramp, which doubles as storage, 4 skateboards, and 5 figures. The figures have little notches where the skateboards go which are easy-ish to put in on all except 1 figure. You can use the ramps inside the playset to practice tricks and things. The best part is that you can use the figures and skateboards really anywhere too--there's a lot of play value here. The skateboards have a grippy top, just like regular boards. My daughter has played with this every day since it arrived. My reason for taking off 1 star is two fold. 1) That certain figures are REALLY hard or impossible to put both hands/feet onto the board and 2) That you really need to unfold the ramp playset and kinda fold it backwards so that it will lay flat as you play.I think it's great everything can be folded up and packed away in the playset. Makes it nice and organized! This would be a cute gift.

There are 5 figures, 4 skateboards and 1 plastuc ramp / carrying case in this set. Each figure and skateboard has a different design. I was hoping that the figures would be manueverable off of the skateboard but they are not. They clip onto the boards so that the figures stay on during play. This means you cannot use the figures alone. I'm always looking for toys that give more open ended play but these are not quite it. Outside of moving them up and down the ramp or pretend play skateboarding - it doesn't keep my child's attention very long. The toys themselves appear well made and the carrying case is convenient. If your kid loves tech deck in general, they will like this. The toy is exactly what it is depicted in the promo photos.
