We love this file cabinet. Assembly was easy with good instructions. They included spare parts and all pre drilled holes were perfectly aligned. Finish is nice and it feels solidly built.

Received 2 drawers in a nicely packed box, wrapped very good.Only part was difficult was the instructions. They could improve in that part.Instructions could be more detailed especially when it got to small parts that don't show up in the pictures and you have to figure where it goes.Other than that, it's worth buying and just the right size to fit under an open table underneath.

Not worth it, Assembly instructions were absolutely horrible. Bags of screws labeled 24 count and only eight screws in a bag. I ordered a white cabinet and they sent me a gray one.

I think these look great in my bedroom/office. The white castors are a bit "cheap" feeling when assembling but have worked just perfect pushing around the room. I bought two of these, assembled both of them myself with a little help from my 4 and 8 year old on the second one. Because I had their help and had to make us lunch and all that, took me a couple of hours to get one completed, if I hadn't been multi-tasking I probably could have done both in an hour. I'm a single parent and have put together lots of shelves, crib, furniture and all that myself and usually with at least one kid's help. So I was already familiar with the hardware and how to use it. I didn't exactly read all the prep pages in the instruction book before starting but checked it out after I was done and I think it did a good job of explaining the hardware, like using the cams. My hand is small, I'm petite overall at 5' and a woman's small glove is too big for me so the screw driver that it came with, which is also short, was difficult to use because I needed more leverage in my twist. I just got a longer screw driver from my tool box and it worked perfect so I got all screws in as flat as possible. The holes all lined up well, they aren't pre-drilled all the way but I think that is by design considering it isn't real wood and just a little extra elbow grease it allows the screw to be fastened in more securely. I think the instructions are in a good order and I didn't have to take anything apart or make corrections through the process. What is helpful to me before starting any assembly job is unpacking everything so I can see it all laid out, I don't remove screws from the bag but I lay them in smaller cardboard boxes I normally use for organizing small things around the house, also keeps them from getting lost under anything while I'm building. I have my kids verify with me everything against the inventory list, which is strategic because they get bored of "helping" for a while until they see me screwing bigger pieces together and them helping with that isn't so bad. I read a couple steps ahead of the current step just to evaluate if what I'm doing makes sense and I look at the pictures very closely and try to make sure pieces fit before I start screwing in anything. I did turn the main structure in different ways not in the instructions just to make it easier for me to lean into using the screwdriver with more safety. Everything went together well and I appreciate they proactively included extra pieces I didn't need, but maybe in the future. I hope I don't need them but it's nice the company thought of that. I'm happy with my purchase and I'd recommend it to anyone. Especially since covid and I've had to make my personal space into a work space, but I don't want it to feel like I'm sleeping in a cubical.

After finally getting all the pieces assembled, I can't get it to lock. The mechanism sticks terribly and I can get it to lock but not unlock (fortunately I discovered this before i put the bottom drawer in so I could manually unlock the top drawer. The screws don't want to go through the thick wood. Instructions were clear, I followed to a "T" but I think that the lock stick got bent in shipment and is the cause of a lot of my problems. The bottom drawer also doesn't go in all the way unless it is slammed and then you have to pull the drawer open by lifting from the bottom. Not great. Looks pretty, but the product itself is sub par. I wont be able to use it for what I was intending as a result of the faulty lock.

For ~$90 I wasn't expecting greatness, but this has been a very pleasant surprise. It is heavy, the boards are dense. It arrived with no missing parts, extremely well packaged, with clear instructions. The only "cheap" part on it are the castors, but that's not a deal breaker. Most of the complaints I read in other reviews were about it being a pain to assemble. I would say it took me over an hour but under two, but I was fine taking my time and listening to a podcast. With other sets like this, I've had missing parts or screws that strip on contact, but everything here was perfect. The action on the filing cabinet drawer is very smooth. You see when you assemble it that they come generously lubricated. The action on the top drawer is not the same, but just fine. The locking mechanism works well, and two keys are provided. I bought this because I had a height restriction, and it has worked out great. tempted to buy a second for more space.

Looks great in my office! Great buy!Pros:- on wheels- great size/space saver- both drawers lock- nice color and designCons:- pain in the ass to assemble (let me also add I read the instructions before assembly but managed to screw up the locking mechanism and had to disassemble the whole thing!)- not the sturdiest locking mechanism. Would be fairly easy to break if someone really wanted in.

I love this file cabinet. It's exactly what I wanted. My only advice for those who wish to purchase this in the future...if you do not have strong hands...have a drill on hand because the holes that are pre-drilled are not deep enough. All of the bolts and screws were carefully packaged with each step printed on the bags they are separated in, so they have made it as easy as possible. But it arrives as just pre-cut wood with 98 screws, it's just a big endeavor. Be prepared. Beautiful once it's built.
