I have Ice Code as my main and Black Code S as my cross. Ice Code provides a lively pop while the Black Code S provides spin. This combination is easy on my wrist and elbow. Strung at 55lbs on a Babolat Pure Strike

This is a decent string that is fairly comfortable and solid feeling. I used it in a Babolat Pure Aero for several sessions and it didn't feel like it lost any tension or changed qualities during that time. I could generate decent power with it, but I would say that it's more of a control string. The Pure Aero is a powerful racquet but I never felt like the Ice Code gave it too much power. I like to generate spin and that's where the Ice Code falls short for me. There are other strings out there that are control oriented, comfortable, and have more spin potential. The advantage that Ice Code has is that it seems to last longer than most while not being super expensive. I strung it at around 50 lbs.

I like this string at around 45- 46 lbs. in my 18x20 Angell racquets. It's firm, but not harsh, and provides excellent control and adequate spin to keep balls in play. Playing twice a week I get a month out of it before needing to restring. I don't string myself so I can't comment on that aspect of it. Overall I am happy with it, may try it as a hybrid next time to see how it plays with a softer string in the crosses.

Made this purchase for a friend who needed new tennis string, they said this was exactly what they wanted, the string itself is made really made and durable so that when a tennis ball come flying at full speed to the racquet it wont break.

If you want a string that hits like a stiff string but with comfort/power/control/feel, this is the string.I string my Wilson Pro Staff 97 at 58/54lbs. I do a lot of weight lifting along with playing tennis so I'm a big hitter. This string puts a noticeable amount of spin on the ball with a lot of control and added comfort. On top of that, this string holds tension and durability exceptionally well. I'm on my 3rd week of having this string in my racquet and I have not noticed, if at all, any tension drop. I still get the control I like at 58 lbs in the mains. I may even go a little higher and string it at 60/56lbs to see if I can swing even harder while maintaining the comfort and feel. Because I have my crosses strung 4lbs less in the crosses, it adds more feel/comfort and helps tremendously at the net for serve and volley. This is all granted I don't mishit and have correct form with every shot.Definitely worth the money and price. I came from a hybrid of multi in mains (NRG2) and poly in the crosses (Razor Code) and this string does it for me primarily because I don't have to restring due to a broken string.

If you want durability, control, power, and almost free access to spin, place this in your racquet now. When hitting the ball, you don't have a great feel, but, the way I would describe it, as it doesn't feel like you are hitting the ball with a plank of wood, but more like hitting with packing peanut with power. When hitting, I would advise taking pace off and going more for a spin/control oriented swing as these strings are powerful by their own nature, so you may want to go up a pound or two on tension to tame that power if you have a flatter type of shot. This string would also be a great cross string in a hybrid as it is a rounded type of string (similar to the Red Code Wax) and combined with a shaped string (similar to a RPM blast or Tecnifibre Black Code 4s) to make your racquet a spin monster.
