This pole is not just long, it's very sturdy. It extends and retracts smoothly and all of the joints are strong. It's actually functional and useful at every length from short (four feet) to super long (16 feet). The diameter is thick so it's not for use with dainty hands. It comes with a screw adapter and a pool tool adapter.Not only is this handy for multiple practical purposes (painting, pool cleaning, hanging Christmas lights, general poking), but I'm also excited to pull it out the next time someone says "I wouldn't touch that with a ten foot pole" to which I can now respond, "How about a 16 foot pole?"

This heavy duty aluminum pool pole extends from 4 to 16 feet and features 4 secure locking baffles and a universal 1.25" fit for most pool accessories. This telescopic pool pole is the BEST pool pole I have ever seen. I love the options for length, it adjusts smoothly, is lightweight, seems to be heavy duty and I anticipate it lasting a long time. It is making brushing my 9 foot deep end of my pool much easier. I have a forever pool pole now! Definitely a GREAT value fror the money. Excellent product!

I originally picked up this pole to replace a broken carbon fiber one I had before, but it has proved to be much more useful. This pole has a good, solid feel compared to the typical aluminum ones common for pools. The foam handles give it a better grip and the extension clips make it much easier to extend than typical compression fittings. I feel it is stronger when extended while using it to clean the pool, even in the deep end. Since the pole comes with a typical screw on the end for a broom or paint roller, I attached a broom end and used it to clean the cobwebs and wasp nests off the eaves of the house. It has proved to be extremely useful.All use aside, I make a point to store this pole inside. If I leave this outside in the sun, the foam of the handle will degrade really fast and the plastic clips on the extensions will become brittle and snap. Once one of the extensions snap, there really won't be any coming back. I believe if you take care of it, it should last for a long time.I love the versatility of this pole as well as the above average strength of it. I haven't had any issues with it and use it for many applications. I would definitely buy another of these.
