Love a rod case that isn't going to roll around, doesn't need a rod sock, and the end cap isn't going to get separated from the case and lost somewhere in Montana.

Build quality is amazing for the price. I bought this to transport a 4 pc 6'6" St. Croix rod in a carry on. The case is very rigid and very light. The rod barely fits so I don't know if more than one can fit inside

This seems study and the shape is very cool allowing more space inside than round and it wont roll.

I bought a 4 piece 5wt saltwater rod as a backup to my 8wt for bonefishing in the Bahamas. When the rod arrived it was in a cloth case, and wrapped in newsprint and plastic. I was amazed it survived shipping. I needed a hard case to protect it for storage and flying. I found this on Amazon, it arrived in a timely manner and I immediately opened it. Now caution: there are no compartments in it at all to hold the individual rod sections, but that is not an issue since my rod has it's own cloth case, All went into the triangular case with ease, and the rod is protected for travel. Perfect! Mission Accomplished!!

I've probably used a couple dozen cases over the years. I've used this case for a few years now and it's been easily the handiest case I've owned. I've been able to fit as many as seven rods in the case (don't recommend this - six is plenty), and the case has been easy to transport in overhead bins on airplanes and through multiple airports. Rods stay protected and the case has held up well, even after being sent as checked baggage a few times.
