I am a newbie at crossbows (this is my first one). I normally shoot compound archery and long firearms. In my opinion this is a very nice crossbow. Upon inspection, it came very nicely finished, no scratches or blemishes evident. Cams, cables, and all other equipment was in excellent condition, ready to shoot.Scope is very nice quality, optics appear clear. I wish caps on optics had a click release, as they easily pop open with slight snag. Not a huge issue, I hunt so this might be a slight concern to think about.It is very easy to cock and deacock. It is a pretty light crossbow. It is very user friendly. Crossbow shoots beautiful. Shots are very crisp, and the trigger is really nice and crisp. It hits the target every time.Overall, I am very pleased with this crossbow. I think it’s of superb quality at a decent cost.

This is my first legit crossbow, so I have no direct comparison, beyond carrying a compound bow and/or a rifle. Since these are in some regards the offspring of both that's how I'm looking at this review. It's definitely heavier to carry than a compound, and shooting feels a bit like cheating. This is especially true given how bad of a shot I am with the compound. Compared to a rifle the ease of being accurate at range is similar especially with the great included scope, albeit at a much sorter potential range. Weight seems similar, but with the added need to carry a quiver instead of a couple extra rounds in a pocket. Appears that this kit comes with all you'll except some lube and string wax. I'm really looking forward to the opportunity to take this out to the field instead of just at a range.

So far everything looks awesome, I'm no expert in Crossbows or sights but the included scope is nice.

My first impressions were how well the product is packaged, the user manual is very comprehensive and easy to use, and the link to the instructional videos fill in any gaps. You get what you pay for and I appreciate companies that take the extra effort to make sure the product arrives and is supported extensively, especially for first time buyers. In unboxing the crossbow itself was nested between the accessory boxes and well cushioned for shipping and delivery. Included with the crossbow are a few tools for adjustment, 3 arrows, the scope, the quiver and the user manual.At first I thought the crossbow felt a little heavy, but realized that once i had it properly in hand it is not necessarily heavy, but well-constructed and made for heavy use for a long period of time. You can see and feel the quality of this item that is made in America and where they don't cut corners but provide a quality crossbow mostly for serious beginners.The crank makes it easier to get it set for firing. It does take a few extra steps than just pulling and loading a compound bow, but it also has greater FPS than many compound bows, so you sacrifice a little convenience and time for speed of delivery. There are a few steps to follow precisely to both cock and uncock the bow, but once you have it figured out it can go quite quickly.The scope provides great clarity and efficiency in sighting your target. You may need to make a few minor adjustments from the factory settings until you find your perfect position, but the scope is easy to adjust. I like the pop up lens covers as they are quick and convenient. I didn't notice them releasing on their own.Overall I am very pleased with this crossbow. It loads easily, fires simply, stays on target and simple to use (if you follow the detailed instructions in the manual and the videos).The company provides a great deal of support with the constant safety reminders and instructions in the manual, the online instructional videos and the customer care phone number. I didn't need to call the number, but based on their constant reminders to do so if needed, I am sure it is another great resource. They also offer chat if you are looking at the videos on your phone.This is not an inexpensive item, but if you are looking for a quality intro crossbow that is extremely well made, and has great customer support, this would be a great one to start.
