Repairing Tent Poles Made Easy
Don't throw away a tent because the shock cord is worn out. You can easily thread this new cord through poles. It is recommended stretching a little tighter than you think before cutting and knotting.
Suggested Length: Use shock cord equal to 70% - 80% of tent pole length to replace a pole.
Long Enough
3/32 inch thick, one roll of 60ft long bungee cord. It is enough for you to finish the replacement of a tent.

Perfect for replacing bungee cords for white canes for the blind. 3/32 thickness works well. Good value. All elastics were out so its good to have extra.

This product is being falsely advertised as being shock cord for use in replacing the cord used in tent poles. The product that I received unfortunately is far from shock cord, it is completely rigid cord with no elasticity at all, which renders it 100% useless for the purpose that I brought it for, and for which it is being promoted as being used for. Very disappointing.

Replaced the bungee cord in my husband's Pitsburg Steelers beach tent. He was going to toss it when the original cord broke at the beech on the 3rd use. I paid over $100 for the tent and was not tossing it. I was able to thread the poles in the car on the way back to the beach. The wire they send in this packaging for threading could have been better it was very cheap and bent in the pole several times and had rust on it. Overall for the cost, it did the job. The cord is heavy duty and the pull apart pole system is better than original. There is plenty of replacement cord left. I plan to re thread the other 2 poles just to give the tent better support. They should use this bungee cord in all the original tents. Great product for cost. Very happy with this purchase. But again the wire they provided for threading could be better it was rather flimsy but it did the job. The cord is what matters and the quality is superb!!

Had to replace all the poles in a 4 man tent. This was perfect but I had to buy 2 but that is probably my issue. Should be just enough if you are frugal and get more tension before you cut
