It worked great the first 2 times then 2 1/2 months later I use it for the third time I charged it before I used it and then it won’t turn on fully, turns on for a split second and shuts right back off out of warranty through Amazon not really happy about it. Maybe the manufacturer will warranty it. We shall see

Anyone who has tried to fill a small lawnmower gas tank with a 5 gallon gas can, knows how easy it is to over-fill it and spill gas everywhere. This little device helps eliminate that problem. The fill nozzle is patterned after a typical gas pump. When one releases the trigger/handle, it stops the gas almost immediately. One is not left trying to negotiate a heavy fuel container. Being able to set the the fuel can safely on the ground, is a big plus. With it being rechargeable, one never has to hunt for fresh batteries. There are a few things that one needs to be aware of. For some unknown reason, the required USB charging cable is not included. I found that to be strange at this price point. Also the pump has to be switched On/Off, on the top of the dip tube portion of the pump. The nozzle trigger does not turn the pump On/Off when squeezed or released. That can be inconvenient when the fuel can is on the ground and one is up on a step, filling a taller machine. Overall it works well and does a good job,

My rain barrel is under my porch (a crawl space without easy access to electricity), and the barrel’s spigot is narrow, so getting rain water out of the barrel is slow and awkward. This rechargeable transfer pump makes water harvesting much faster and easier, reducing my exposure to ticks and mosquitoes. The pump was logical and easy to figure out. I was using it within three minutes. The only thing else I would want is a hole in the handle so I can tie the handle to something to ensure the pump does not slide into my deep 50-gallon rain barrel. I’m terrified of the pump accidentally unhooking and sliding into the barrel and short circuiting itself.

Hooked up portable generator for Hurricane IDA and had a 55 gallon drum of gasoline delivered. Used the pump to fill the generator. Great suction and would fill the tank in about 90 seconds. Try to fill the generator tank with the new 5 gallon gas tanks with all the new safety features-takes forever. With this pump it is no problem. The only problem with this pump is that the new 5 gallon tanks have built in screens that prevent the pump from being inserted. I also used the pump to pump water out of garage and utility boxes after the storm passed. Great little pump to have.

Debated for a while about needing this as I am filling a generator and motorcycles from a 5 gallon can. Spilled fuel all over me and the bike causing the black plastic to turn white. Also got a lot on my private parts and that was not fun. Then went for the rechargeable version and glad I did. Plugs into a Micro USB-cord provided but now power supply-blinks when charging then solid green when full.I stuck in a 5 gallon can and slid the on switch. Pushed the fuel handle and pumped a solid stream about 2 GPM. When I was done held the too long fuel line higher than can and the excess fuel runs back into the can.I guess a 10 foot fuel line would be good for a jet ski or boat where you could leave the can on the dock. I use it between 2 motocycles and don't have to move the can.I'll edit if it breaks but so far worth the 75 bucks. I smile every time I use it and don't have to pour into a big funnel and spill a ton of gas.
