  • The simple 100% bolt on installation can be performed with basic hand tools in minutes
  • Designed specifically for JK rear Falcon piggyback shocks
  • Simple install
  • Fit type: Vehicle Specific

Although our Falcon piggyback shocks are designed to take a beating with their nearly indestructible hard anodized 6061 aluminum construction, we offer a pair of Falcon Rear Shock Skid Plates to give the serious off-roader that extra piece-of-mind when leaving civilization behind. The Falcon rear shock skid plates for the JK and JKU are constructed from 1/4" cold rolled steel with a textured black powder coat finish. Just like the mounting hardware for Falcon shocks, the rear shock skid plates' mounting hardware has survived the 1,000-hour salt spray corrosion test.

Very easy install. Give shocks much more protection for trails. Shocks supposedly designed to take hits, did not want to take that chance. Look good too.

It can be a bolt on but it's clearly better welded. You have to cut some things so once you do it, it's there for good. It does seem like you loose an inch or two of clearance.

It is a good material just came with a few marks and missing a little bit of pint. it’s going to have that happen over time I guess so can’t be upset about it.

If these things work and they look like they will ,should protect my investment in expensive falcon shocks.

The kit was easy to install and the directions were ok. They could use some improvements. They feel nice and heavy. Install took about an hour with the right tools. You will need to do some drilling but it was easy enough. They loom awsome can't wait to destroy them on the trail lol.

Not too difficult to install, definitely should come with any falcon shocks with the initial purchase, I don’t care if it was even thinner metal anything to add some protection to a pricey shock. I drug my falcon 3.2’s over a lot of rocks on my passenger side and it barely has scuffed the coating.

These are absolutely needed for your $1500 dollar new Falcon Shocks if you're doing any kind of serious off-roading in your Jeep. I went on one trip without them and I gouged up the bottom of one of my shocks that could have been prevented if I had these installed. These are very easy to install with only one hole needing to be drilled. But in my opinion given what a set of Falcon 3.3 shocks cost, these should be included and not be a "extra" add on accessory.

Very easy instal to protect your Falcon Shocks! Anodized aluminum is still aluminum and it needs to be protected. The bonus to these were that they created a lower jacking point on either side as well.
