I am taking one star out because in the picture it shows there is a drain plug on the bottom but there is no drain plug . And there is one extra bolt hole that has no cover for Dana 30 .

The bolts will not take the recommended torque without breaking. Now I have to deal with a broken bolt. 20 minute job turned into 2 hours.

Feels solid and indeed is alot heavier than the stock cover but do not tighten the cover bolts to 30lbs. I broke 2 bolts to before I reached 30ftlbs when i emailed customer service they told me to disregard the instructions that stated 30lbs and to go to only 20 to 25 max.

I run these diff covers on front and rear on my 07 JKU. Cost effective, heavy duty. Unlike some other brands the fill holes are at the right hight. When you fill them with gear oil it will start coming out the fill hole when you reach the appropriate amount.

Great fit, but is slightly larger than the factory cover. I've heard this is on purpose to fit Teraflex's aftermarket axles with beefier housings. If it bothers you, it just takes a minute and a grinder to fix. I would have like to have seen grade 8 bolts come with this in place of the soft bolts it came with.

Sharp looking heavy duty, high quality cover for a Dana 30.Pros: Heavy duty 3/8" thick, very solid protection compared to stock cover, includes stainless steel bolts & fill plug which add a nice look, adds a small drain valve for fluid changes, and is priced better than most other aftermarket HD covers. The profile is slimmer than most other aftermarket covers which helps avoid the likelihood of any rubbing during flex; I've got a 2-1/2" Teraflex lift and have no rubbing. Install is straight forward - most time consuming part was scraping my old gasket off.Cons: really nothing negative to say about this one! It would have been nice if the fill plug used the 3/8" ratchet head like other fill plugs instead of a 3/8" allen head which I didn't have.
