The add said that it works with iPhone 15 & 16 but when I received it and could not get it to connect I contacted the manufacturer who confirmed it only works with Androids.

I have tried a few different endoscope cameras with different results. Some of them have poor image quality, making them all but useless. Some of them have decent image quality, but the focal distance restrictions make viewing anything up close pointless. Some of them have flaky connection issues. All of them, up to this point, are a pain to get into the area where you need them to go and pointed at what you actually want to see while you are trying to hold onto your phone. That’s why I love this endoscope camera – the image quality is excellent, the integrated phone holder is super convenient, and the two-way articulating feature for the camera makes it much easier to see what you need to see. The whole product is very well made and has a solid feel to it. I wish it was a little longer, but this will work for 90% of what I need it for. If you need a good endoscope for anything from running electrical cables inside walls to working on the back side of your car engine to inspecting the inside of your rifle barrel, this one will do the trick, and do it well!

I tried multiple times to get this to work with my iPhone. I was able to download the app but the model number I had was not in the app. I tried one that was similar but it wouldn't work. I love the actual device and think it is constructed well. I think it would be an amazing idea, but sadly I couldn't get it to work with my phone.

There are always times when you need to see where you can’t. It might be in an engine cylinder, or looking for blockage in a pipe, or more often for me, trying to start a screw, etc. hidden from view or maybe, finding the source of an oil leak. I used mirrors, when possible, but that approach was only successful occasionally and limited, at best.. Then I purchased a very nice Endoscope camera with a light on a long semi-rigid cable, and a wireless monitor. For several years, this thing served me well, and then it died. I replaced it with a cheaper unit that connected directly to my cell phone and worked well enough, The problem with both bore scopes is that to position the camera where you needed to see, required pulling back the camera, bending it or rotating it, a trial and error situation, that usually resulted in a compromise, maybe a partial view. Now let’s talk about the Teslong Endoscope; there are two features that sell me on this product. First, although it uses your cell phone (after installing their app), it mounts on the endoscope and connects by means of a short USB cable. This is important because my previous scope connected directly to the phone’s USB port and moving the semi-rigid snake, sometimes, put strain on the phone’s port. No worries with this product. The second winning feature is that you can easily move the camera backwards up to 210 degrees with a lever on the handle. It won’t rotate it in any other direction, without twisting the snake but, so far, it has worked well for the tasks I used it for.

One thing that really stands out is how easy it is to see what’s in front of the camera. The light is bright enough to see into dark spaces, and the depth of field is really solid, so you don’t have to be right on top of something to make it out clearly. It comes with some useful accessories like a hook, a magnet, and a side-view mirror. I used the hook and magnet to retrieve a screw that fell into an impossible-to-see space, and it worked perfectly. This thing could be a lifesaver for auto repairs, especially when you drop something into a tight spot. I used it to look behind my engine where there was no way to see otherwise, and it helped me pinpoint an oil leak that would have been impossible to locate without it. The camera is high resolution, so everything looks clear, and it connects to your phone through the app.The thing I really love about this borescope is the articulating camera. You can move it around to see the back of where the scope line is coming from, which is something I haven't seen in many other models. The light has a dimming feature too, though you can’t turn it off completely.I’ve also used it around the house to find things my kids have tossed behind furniture. The camera’s ability to see into tight spots has saved me from a lot of frustration. The only downside is the app, it's not perfect and can be a little finicky, but it works most of the time.

I had a little cheap scope that has been used a bunch of times. But it has a lightning connector, and we would rather use one with our iPad. As this has usb c we grabbed it.I'll need to get a longer usb c cable to use it much first. The handle comes set to attach a phone and the included cable would work well for that, but I want to use it with a larger screen. Other than the short cable, it works well with the iPad. When we plugged it in we were prompted to install the XScope app, and we were off and running. The app suggested with it isn't for apple devices, so I was glad we could find one that worked. The light is really bright on the highest setting, and it dims well, although you can't turn it off. The ability to turn the camera direction is really nice, and works smoothly. I'm going to use it this afternoon to go poking around under my dash to see if I can find where the rodent got into the wiring.Like my other scope, this also include a hook and magnet attachments, handy when I need to fish something out of a tight area. It seems well made, so I'm looking forward to using it for all those little things I need to peer at.
