I ordered the 20 piece white and black lids.This does not apply to EVERY lid.. But it is enough of an issue to make a note of it. The seals are very dirty and some are broken/cutThe plastic seal ring fits a 5 gallon bucket pretty good and the inner lid fits too but it does not seal. The seal ring that goes to the inner lid, (the one you spin) does not have a seal around the entire lid. It has a gap in the seal like it was cut too short. I tried to get it closer together but no luck there.These lids are expensive and for them to fit the buckets so well, I am pretty disappointed with this. These being advertised as leak proof is definitely false.. they will leak

These are tough to get on the bucket, but just keep at it and they will go on eventually. They work great and have an excellent seal.

The white ones screw off easy. I can't get the others to work. I got the five different colored ones. Maybe I can use vice grips and hope they won't become damaged. Just very frustrating.

I use these on my buckets for my freeze dried food. They are easy to install with a rubber mallet and seal tight to protect against bugs, oxygen and humidity getting to my food.
