All of the experiments use non-hazardous chemicals. This playful introduction to the basics of chemistry includes approximately 20 experiments. The experiments are presented on printed cards that can be clipped onto the lab station for easy reference. Experiments include glowing slime, color-changing slime, fizzing reactions, oozing bubbles, rainbow in a test tube, chromatography, Cabbage juice pH tests, solutions, filtering, crystals, fire extinguisher, and underwater VOLCANO. The kit includes a large plastic chemistry station, experiment cards, various vessels in different sizes, syringe, measuring cup, pipette, spatula, tube, petri dish, funnel, non-hazardous chemicals for the experiments, and experiment manual.

it is a great hands-on science kit for kids! The 20 experiments are engaging, easy to follow, and safe, making it a fantastic way to introduce chemistry concepts. The lab station setup is fun, but some experiments can be a bit messy, so adult supervision is helpful. A little more variety in materials would have been nice, but overall, it’s a solid educational toy. Great for young scientists!

My daughter wanted chemistry sets for Christmas! This set was awesome and she loved it! Perfect set for 9 year old. Instructions were clear enough for her to do the experiments on her own!

This provided days and hours of entertainment for our 6 year old! Highly recommend if you’re ok with a little mess. Tip: I put foil under the set so if my son spilled something I didn’t worry about my counter getting messy and made clean up a breeze!

Super fun chemistry set! My 8 yr old was extremely excited to do some experiments. Love the cards with experiments because they include an explanation of the science behind each experiment.

If you have an aspiring scientist or someone you want to expose to science this is by far one of the best if not the best kit on the market. Even with just water my kids had a blast the first night after we did a few experiments together.To go SOLO, your child needs to be able to read and may require supervision with some chemicals as to not spill, but the chemicals are non toxic (they have a first aid section).All of the PARTS are sturdy, high quality, and feel like a real kit (plastic not glass)The kit includes many different sized beakers (with lids) pipets, stands, mixing spatulas, Petri dish, measuring cub, hydraulic tube, and quite a few of the chemicals you'll need. The main station has a dozen or so places for holding test tubes or other equipment.I honestly don't know what to say besides, this is a really nice kit. I've sent kits back to amazon for being cheap or overpriced and this one is a keeper.I needed a replacement tube and they sent me one right away, very easy to deal with.

I purchased this science set for a nearly 7 yr old and he loved it. Totally appropriate for this age and a bit older. Some adult help is needed. Parts are sturdy and all supplies are included. I’d definitely recommend it.
