The latches can be a little tough to open the first couple of times but this one container now hold what used to be stored in two larger boxes. Never used to think about how much wasted space was in the old hard formed plastic style storage boxes. Unless you have huge beads this is a much better option. I also like that you can pull out just the boxes you need to work with and leave the rest behind. I like this well enough I actually just ordered two more.

I purchased this to house my beads for making rosaries. It works great. I am one of those people who love to be organized and this fits the bill and was inexpensive. I would highly recommend it for all kinds of organizing needs!

I use these for very small gemstone beads. It was critical for me to not mix them up, as some of the stones look very similar to each other. The miniature boxes were the perfect solution. I found that some of the boxes didn't appear to close all the way, or wogld pop open with ease, but they had extras for the defective ones. Or so I thought. After throwing away the third "defective" box, I realized that these boxes were actually fine - I wasn't closing the lids all the way. So if the edges of a lid are "popped up", make sure to press them all the way in! Don't throw away 3 good boxes for no reason LOLOverall, aside from the pebcak error, I've been thoroughly pleased with them. I'd recommend them to anyone who wants a good way to store beads (especially small ones), or other small items.

There were some cases that will not close tightly. So if your beads are smaller than the gap, it will definitely fall out. Despite that, I like that it is compact, and has different sizes of cases.

If you enjoy reusable containers as part of your diamond painting organization - you're going to love these! The containers are versatile and provide plenty of small and large sizes to accommodate lots of different colors. This system is perfectly adequate for kits with less than 50 colors, any more than that and you might need two but since they're so affordable, I recommend stocking up. Sometimes the containers might be a little warped as plastic often can be, but I'm able to bend them back into shape so none of my drills leak out. This is my favorite storage system for the diamond painting hobby.

This is a great product to have for people into diamond paintings: you can keep all of the colors for a project in 1 place and use an erasable marker to mark each box with the color number. Unfortunately, some of the lids to the small boxes are warped a bit so they do not keep a tight seal...I have to use a piece of masking tape to keep the lids tight. Would be more of a problem if being used for seed beads. But it works well enough for what I need for the price so I'm hanging on to it.

The carrying box latches closed and is easy to travel with or store in a cubby. The 52 compartments actually do not all fit in the box, however. There are several boxes that are shipped inside one another, so won't fit in the box once everything's filled. The 2 large boxes have 2 latches which keep them closed, but all the medium and small boxes do not. They "snap" closed, but there's nothing physical keeping them closed. Sometimes the lids bow upwards and don't form a seal all the way around. If you have really small beads, it might be a disaster waiting to happen. I'm storing sequins and small quantities of beads for now, and it works all right for that.

I love this item and how easy and portable it is. I wish I could say for certain how many beads each size compartment holds, but I cannot. What I can tell you is that I use this system for my seed beads, including my long magatamas, rizzos, pips, super duos and super unos, to name a few. As soon as my next round of boxes come in, I'll also be using them to store my Kumihimo findings and bead caps, handmade and store bought. For right now, I can tell you that with all of my seed beads (Myuki and specialty), all size boxes hold a minimum of average size packages sold by Aunties beads and Beadaholique. Sometimes a minimum of two packages with room to spare. I even managed to store 100 flower shaped czech glass beads (7mm) in one of the smallest boxes. As for knowing what's in the boxes, I remove the label from the original package and attach it to the back of the container holding that bead type. So far, they have all removed with their sticky label still in tact. If they ever do not, you can barely move five feet in my craft space without bumping into double sided tape. This also helps me to keep track of where I ordered from. I also keep all of my packing slips and itemized receipts so always know what I last paid. I may begin keeping a copy in the larger container to keep it handy and easier to track and reference.

I have used a lot of craft storage solutions for my beading hobby and this is by far my favorite. The different size containers are great for various beads and findings. I use seed beads, and these hold up great. I like that I can take out just a few beads in the smaller containers, I don't have to take out all of my beads at once. These are short and square, so they are not as prone to spillage as other bead containers I've used. You can store a lot of different beads in a very small amount of space. They outside storage box stores flat and stacks nicely.
