Your cart is empty.The next generation of vivarium lighting. These sleek, aluminum cast LED lights are great for lighting your vivariums/terrariums. This 6" LED has diodes that emit 740-810 lumens and 6,000 kelvin each. The Grow & Glow LED bulb has the red and blue diodes in them which is very important for the longevity of your plants. The vent on the front pushes all the heat away from the inside of your vivarium, preventing your vivarium from getting too hot. Grow & Glow swivels 180 degrees directionally rotational to focus light where you want it most. This LED does not emit UVB or heat. Adapter cord (e27 base) is not included if you choose to not use a canopy and must be purchased separately. Each LED comes with a 1 year, limited manufacturers warranty. Please Note: The use of excessive force when screwing the units in sockets resulting in the breaking of the plastic base and/or forcing the bulb further than it was designed to rotate will void the warranty.

I have used these lights on all my vivariums, I keep two species of dart frog and several species of mantella frogs. They work great and I haven't had to replace them yet, it's going on over a year. They are great for growing plants in the vivarium without producing to much heat. Not recommended to be used as a heat source. HIGHLY RECOMMEND for growing plants and keeping amphibians and other reptile that prefer cooler temps.

About 2 months ago, I went bioactive with my leopard gecko's tank. I did months of research on The Bio Dude's website. This light illuminates the enclosure and my plants grow like crazy!

The light is well built, has a nice color and my plants have benefited from the addition of this light. However buyers should know that this is a 9w bulb therefore it is optimal for an enclosure no more than 18in tall. I have a 24 inch tall enclosure and while it has helped as a supplementary light, my plants would have really benefited from something brighter. I really wish that information was advertised.
