I’ve been using quilter’s gloves but after seeing these demonstrated on Shabby Fabrics I decided I had to get them. They really do make quilting on my domestic machine so much easier. Hard to believe what a difference they make, but they do. For the price, you can’t go wrong to just try them for yourself!

I am machine quilting a lot these days, and wanted to try these out to see if they would keep my hands from getting so tired. I’ve been wearing some great gloves, but find my fingers and hands are sore quickly. These grip the quilt wonderfully and after some practice, I find moving the quilt to be as easy as using gloves, but without my hands getting so tired. They work well for me - I can recommend them! Good quality - looks like they will last for awhile, and they have two sides of differing material to use on different surfaces of material.

When these disks were recommended by a quilting website, I figured they would be the best thing ever for free motion quilting. They were not. I had more control with my normal quilting gloves and I wish that I hadn't spent the money.

A game changer! My free Motion quilting improved immediately. I had been using quilting gloves to fmq large quilts on my sit-down long arm and often found it a struggle. They just didn’t provide enough grip to move the fabric sandwich around comfortably (in spite of a good suspension system). It was also frustrating to deal with cut threads that adhered to the gloves. The pads allow me to easily fmq with relaxed hands, repositioning is easy, and loose threads are easily dealt with as my hands are bare.

...these work really well for what they are intended. The cost compared to other products that do the same thing was significantly less and they store easily without taking up a lot of space. Very functional and I highly recommend for free motion quilting.

I have tried several brands of quilting gloves for machine quilting. My hands get hot/sweaty in gloves and my arthritic hands get very tired and hurt pretty quick. These are great to use. Very easy to control the movement of the quilt without pulling and tugging. I would highly recommend you give them a try.

I like the size of the pads & ease of using them to guide the fabric where you want it to go

I found that these discs make FMQ way more enjoyable and easy when compared to gloves. I am really bad about not keeping the fabric evenly held when I use gloves, and for some reason, the discs naturally helped me with that. I seemed to intuitively know when and where to adjust the position of the discs. Game changer for me!
