I bought this to use for physical therapy and it is so hard I can't use it. But bought for the usual purpose, it is really nice. I didn't know quite how to rate it because my purpose is unusual, so I tried to rate it based on a pool setting. It will float, that's for sure. And the quality is there. But I don't recommend it for kids out of concern they will keep a grip on it, or be able to grab it back if it slips away.

It does hold me up, but not my husband. Hard to find large enough noodles ANYWHEREWE use these for lake floating

Noodle is WAY MORE buoyant than the long, skinny ones and doesn't interfere with my exercises. Highly recommend!

I have a soaking tub and needed to replace the bolster pillow. I didn’t want a soft pillow so I tried this. It is the right diameter and I was able to easily cut it to fit lengthwise.

All it took was one middle of the night "thud" to wisen me up! This fit perfectly under a fitted twin sheet on the open side of my daughters twin bed. It was the perfect size (and length) to keep my 6 year old from rolling out of her bed. Best $$ I have EVER spent.Ps.. A couple pieces of iron on velcro tape and it wouldn't budge without me intentionally pulling it off while changing her sheets.

We purchased two of these @ $16.99 EACH because of their 5" diameter... 34" long is on the short side, but it was intended for use by just the kids in the pool. Used once - and not used roughly - and there are permanent dents and shrinkage. The foam must be defective or old, it does not return to its original shape as expected. Not worth returning. You may have better luck with your purchase / product.A dollar worth of material and labor for $16.99... there has to be a better value somewhere else.

I bought these for padding my polyethylene kayak and epoxy hard paddleboards when hauling them on the back of my truck. I cut one in four pieces lengthwise and the other I cut out a lengthwise section such that it mounts snugly over my tailgate. I used a breadknife and it was almost literally like cutting butter. Along with one Vamo combination tailgate pad/board strap and two Vamo board straps I now have enough padding to carry my two paddleboards and one kayak concurrently, with one spare pad. Oh, I have a truck bed toolbox that the front ends of the vessels rest on (on the pads, of course). The kayak goes on one side of the bed and the paddleboards rest, one above the other, on the other side of the bed. I don't think I could have built any other system as inexpensively, or as easily (although I haven't really checked, so don't flame me if you do the math and find something else cheaper).The "Pool Noodles" are very high density foam, so they seem as though they'll last for a long time. I have similar foam in my skatepark roller skating "body armor" that I've been using for decades with little to no deterioration. As floats I think the short noodles like the ones I bought would be great, because they are so stiff that they could be used as very stable flotation. Don't confuse these with those skinny, floppy noodles that you see everywhere.Highly recommended if you have a need for the physical characteristics of this product.
