This was not the right solenoid ( my fault) for my simplicity mower however I was able to adapt it and it works like a champ. My advice is take off your old one first so you can compare it to the picture or maybe get the part number off the old one.

Replaced my simplicity mowers starter solenoid with this. I can now start it with the key instead of bypassing with a screwdriver!.

I don't know how old my 38" rider is. It's old. Maybe late 90s. Wouldn't start without a screwdriver jump. Put this in easy peasy and now starts right up with key.
