I recently decided to change around coolers on my two cpus and didn't want to worry about getting the exact right amount of thermal paste for each application, these solved that. I don't notice a significant difference in temps between these pads and high end thermal paste so in my opinion that is a win for these with temps being equal and install being much easier. They fit my am5 cpus perfectly and cost way less than some other options for what seems to be genuine ptm7950.

I read somewhere that Thermalright was basically selling PTM7950 at a lower price, and while this may be similar to PTM7950 it's not the same. I'm used to handling and installing PTM7950 but this material is way more brittle and more difficult to apply than what I have already. Took a chance on this for the price and am a bit disappointed that it's not easier to apply. It tears and just refuses to come off of the plastic sheet it is on.

The protective that was supposed to peel off first for installation didn't, other side did instead. However the ambient temp is higher at the moment due to summer.Easy to tear, this was after sticking in the fridge to help prevent the phase change. Next time will put in the freezer.Make sure you have everything ready to go before applying.Overall though, fairly happy with the temps even though installation didn't go as planned. The hotspot on my 3060ti is about 10c-12c higher they the average. Down from about 20c higher.

Completely unusable product. I got two of these and neither one would peel off the clear sheet. It comes off the white sheet fine, but it tears or breaks when trying to get it off the clear sheet. Even if you can get it off, there will be thin spots and some spots where it's thicker because of the breaks and where it pulled. There's no way to get this to actually lay flat. Luckily it's cheap. I ended up throwing them both away after fighting with it for over half an hour.

Applying it is easy if you bother to take 2 seconds to read the instructions, however the performance is quite bad.It performs worse than the pre-applied paste that came on my AIO.I don't know if it's just terrible quality paste or if it's because it's a super thin layer. Either way, I think it's garbage.

Same specs as PTM7950. Throw the sheet in the fridge for about 5 minutes. Apply to the heat sink as advised in the instructions. The larger surface area makes the pad adhere easier. Slowly pull the plastic off the pad. Apply pressure after the pad is aligned on the heating. Let it sit for awhile like 10 to 15 minutes. It will make it easier to pull off the plastic without messing up the pad. When applied properly the pad works great. This stuff is way cheaper and just as good as PTM7950. I’ve applied this to a 5950X, 7900X3D, and a 3080TI. All have great temps. You just need to be careful and patient while applying. Again, follow the instructions, lol.

The other reviewer is right on the money when they say that it is frustrating. I bought three in case I messed up, and 2 of the strips were crinkled - they are in a hard packaging box, but it was mailed in bubble wrap packaging. I would say it may be crinkled from the factory since it was the only thing "damaged" - the boxes were in perfect shape. I applied one, and of course it tore at the wrinkle in it, so I used the second sheet with a wrinkle in it to patch the 1st, creating my own Frankenstein of a thermal sheet. At least all of the bare metal on the processor is covered, and the pressure from the heatsink will level any high spots. Just be mindful of how Amazon sends your sheets - if in a bubble mailer, it may end up having a wrinkle in the sheet - if in a box and wrinkled, then its due to the factory.

I bought two of the Intel versions. I applied it to my 13900K, and an EVGA 3090. Both of them had issues with sticking to the plastic, but I just slowed down and remained patient. Even with small tears in the material, you have to remember that once it heats up it'll liquify and join together once again. Both my processor and GPU are covered for a while as this won't suffer pump out. The temps are good immediately after installing, but they will get better with time which is even better. Remember patience is key with this product. I bought two, and used two.

Performance -Using a 13900k @ 290w with a corsair H115i (280mm radiator) & a thermalright contact frame.Moving from stock corsair thermal paste to this pad decreased cinebench temps from ~93c to ~90c. For thermal paste, a 3c difference is pretty impressive. The 13900k will always run hot, but this pad gives you some extra breathing room.Installation -Not fun. Pad is thin, and strongly adheres to plastic. I froze the pad before installation (less chance of ripping) & used a hair dryer to melt the pad a bit after applying it (to remove second plastic piece). Expect this part to take some time and frustration.Notes -Based on packing materials that mention "phase change temp", I am assuming this is rebranded ptm 7950. Most other ptm 7950 listing cost more, and come with a degree of uncertain authenticity. As thermalright is a legitimate company, this seem to be the cheapest and most reliable way to acquire this type of thermal paste. As to its performance, ptm 7950 is still pretty new in the pc building space, but early adopters report that performance improves over time, with some listing reporting 1000 curing cycles to reach max thermal conductivity. I've only been using the pad for about 2 weeks, so I can't vouch for the long term performance yet.

The thermal paste wouldn't separate cleanly from the paper it comes on, so it couldn't be used.
