How to install
- Shut down and wrap the prepared wire around the old thermistor.
- Unplug the old plug and pull out the entire thermistor kit.
- Remove the old kit, wire the new thermistor, plug in the new plug and pull the wire back through the original path.
- Turn it on and the refrigerator will resume normal operation.

We bought this while on the road, replaced it in the travel trailer and continued our trip. The refrigerator became a freezer no matter how we adjustsed it. When we returned had to take the vehicle into the dealer and fixed. They had to replace this item with a new one to fix the problem. So happy we have a second refrigerator on the vehicle, otherwise the trip would of been a nightmare without a refrigerator.

Will take some time before I can tell if it’s working or not. Very hot outside right now, Rv fridge doesn’t have a fan so it reaches operating temp slowly.time will tell.

My Dometic has been having refrigerator cooling issues. Freezer works fine; however, refrigerator can only initially cool to 35-38, then once stocked (with pre-cooled items only) will only maintain 38-45. The replacement of the thermistor seems to help...now it is 37-39.
