the hitch we had that held out child to our bike was missing and had to get a replacement. This attachment worked perfectly for that bike and was relatively easy to attach it. It would be a bit more helpful to include some kind of instruction manual on best way to do the attachment. I had to go to youtube to check best practices on doing it.Other than that issue, the installation was smooth and it works as intended so would recommend it
