  • The Third Hand Binding Folder Clip makes it easier for you to create binding. It's like having a 3rd hand to fold the binding in half while you iron!
  • The Third hand is adjustable so it fits a standard ironing board as well as thinner boards. No tools necessary, just loosen the wing nut, slide the Third Hand into place and turn the wing nut to secure it in place. (It will not be super tight because you are going to slide the tool off of your ironing board for easier loading of the fabric.)
  • To create your binding, slide the tool off your ironing board and insert a 2 1/2" (or any of the other width choices) strip of fabric into the Third Hand Binding Folder Tool. There is a slot on the top to allow you to use a pin to help pull the fabric through if necessary. Pull the fabric out about 6" and straighten the edges then press with your iron. Turn the iron tip next to the tool so you can hold the iron with one hand and pull the fabric out with the second.
  • I roll the binding onto the Binding Wheel as I'm ironing it. Then I can neatly store the binding until I'm ready to stitch it to my project.
  • The Third Hand Binding Folder Clip is now available in eight sizes: 4, 3.5", 3", 2.75", 2.5", 2.25", 2", and 1.125" and a variety of colors

I'm done wrestling with yards of fabric binding while I prepare it for a quilt and sew it onto a quilt. This product is ideal. I can roll the binding onto the wheel as I press it, and I can roll it off as I sew it onto a quilt. How clever is that!

This is a great gadget for preparing binding for quilts. Lots of colors to choose from. Plastic. Bolt that tightens will get loose and must retighten couple times while using it. Would purchase again.

I didn't get the stand, and had a hard time putting the round part together. I am missing the stand. Please correct this.
