I got these to make sun catcher sticks for the garden. They were easy to use and nice and sturdy. I'm excited to be able to make a few more and put them in the garden this summer. It's a nice way to add a touch of color and whimsy to the garden.

I bought this thinking it would be a good way to use up some of my old stash of cheap beads. The rods are so large that they will not fit into any of my fake crystal or fake jewel beads. The only Beads that I find fit over the rods are plastic pony beads or E beads. I also have some large hole beads, but they are way too expensive to use for a project like this. Overall, very disappointed that all of the beads in my stash will not work for this.Te rods are fully threaded and very heavy duty but hate to go buy more beads just for this project. (Not sure where I could buy beads with holes this large anyway.

I ordered these and some stainless m4 hooks. But the threads did not match up. Although i did use these rods i was forced to use something else to attach the rods wich wasn't easy. So yes i used half of them.

This is a good quality stainless steel threaded rod. Both the rods and nuts check out as M4-0.7 (4mm diameter, .7mm between threads) on my thread-checker tool. Curiously, the description includes a reference to #8-32, which has a diameter of 0.164" and 32 threads per inch, while also having graphics that show a diameter of 0.157" (inch equivalent of 4 millimeters). But this rod isn't #8-32/0.164". It's close to that, but the fact of the matter is that M4/4mm/0.157" is not #8-32/0.164" and that is all there is to it. For the purpose in the product description - beaded garden stakes - it probably doesn't matter, since the nuts are included. But if you attempt to use these rods with actual #8-32 nuts, you will experience some wobble due to the difference in diameter and thread pitch.It is increasingly common for metric hardware manufactured overseas to be sold as compatible with other standards in the American market. If you see M4, M10, etc., anywhere in the description, you can be fairly certain that it is metric, even if there are also references to other system's sizes elsewhere in the description.

I am a maker and make a lot of items for outdoor, camping boating, fishing, etc. I love Allthread because I can make any size bolt I need without having to have trays full of all the different sizes of expensive bolts.If you look at it this way, these are a great money saver!

These are stainless steel threaded rods and nuts so no worries about rusting or staining. It does have a slight magnetic attraction but it won't stick to a magnet. Its marketed towards crafts but has many other uses and I'll use it to assemble parts that are too thick for normal bolts as you can cut them to any size you need. Good quality with clean treading and they all were perfect straight with no bends in them.
